Good budget, dog friendly option Perfect spot for traveling on a budget with a small dog Room and grounds were spotless, staff were friendly, price was great. Overall pretty quiet and an excellent location for all the things we wanted to do. Only downside was no fridge and no in room coffee but coffee was available in the lobby. We absolutely would stay here again.

Small but clean First time ever staying at a motel 6. Desperate on a holiday weekend. Small but clean room. No amenities; no coffee maker, no microwave, no Refridge. Ice machine at the back of the first building. Lovely clean pool. Right across the street from a nice breakfast restaurant.

Clean, cheap, good location This is your standard 1960's era motel that has been updated. My room was small but clean with a little workspace/nook which was comfy to sit at and eat/work on laptop etc. The floors are the wood laminate, comfy bed with good sheets and pillows. A thin blanket though so people inclined to chill may need a bit more coverage. Shower hot with a water with flow designed for water conservation. Room had one wall mounted t.v with cable and an AC unit that worked well, wi-fi, no problems with parking. The room did not have a fridge or hair dryer. This motel allows dogs for no extra fee. The grounds and area do not have much of a place to walk your doggie however. I had to get in to my map app to find the closest park for dog walking. So for probably one of the lowest price motels in Santa Barbara, it is a clean, bare bones room in a good location in the middle of suburbs with lots of restaurants and shopping options in walking distance. As a single female traveler, I felt safe here.

Good location, stale cigarette smoke We paid $155/night. Santa Barbara is expensive, but our room was very, very basic. Double bed, 2 hooks in the sink area to hang your clothes. No mini fridge, microwave or coffee maker. But the worst was that our room reeked of smoke. I called down to the front desk & was offered to have someone come up to our room & spray something to help. I am not interested in a spray that is trying to mask the stink, it would just add another smell. A room should not smell like anything, especially cigarettes. I thought all motel/hotel rooms in California were smoke free? They should not be renting out rooms before properly treating the room, all the bedding, including the pillows should have been washed. The big positive is it is conveniently located & they had treats for our dog.

Cheap, but dirty In town to visit son. Received a good price $83 inc tax. 1st room smelled like a smoker lived there. Changed rooms. Smelled better, but dirty. Sink had some mold, tub and surrounds very dirty. Floor dirty (as noted by the dirt from my feet when I stepped into the tub/shower).
