mold in room There was mold in the bathroom and bedroom. We chose to deal with it though because they already charged us and we knew that we'd only likely get one night back.

Dirty towels and bed sheetes were stained and gross. We literally had to buy sheets and towels from walmart to use to feel comfy and cleam. floor were stained/dirty/sticky sink was broken walls need to be cleaned/wipoed down/painted the only reason we had to stay was becasue everyhting else was booked and we were staying in that area for work (remodeling) and im not high class we are from a poor background and not wealthy right now but you can still be poor and be clean. not looking for the highest quality largest TV,Pool, ammenities. dont care if its quaint but i do care thats its clean and well kept. This place was anything but that and dumb expensive for THAT?! no thanks, never again.

Sarasota Extremely small bathroom, bad service , room was not cleaned during stay. Had to ask for clean towels and extra toilet paper. Way over priced! Unless you plan to clean your own room, sleep without air conditioning, get your phone hacked by their wifi , don't stay here!

One night in Motel 8 Sarasota The staff was polite, check in took a while, and when we got the room key, there was a clicking noise in the room in the electrical outlet ( it was annoying, and would be very disturbing at night), so we changed rooms. The new room was also very clean, and had very strong cleaner odor, it was pleasant, but little too overpowering, I smelled it from my clothes for next 3 days. No big deal. Breakfast was OK, nice choices of bread for toast, bagels, and jams. HOWEVER until today I still did not receive the deposit back on my credit card. The office manager said they processed it, so I am now trying to find out via my bank why it does not appear as credit on my card. So overall nice stay, conlfy bed, clean room, but some hassle which is still not over.
