AWESOME STAFF! My husband and I stayed at this Super 8 for 1 night because we had business to take care of in Sealy. We also work overnights, as a result, we ended up sleeping in too late. We were there way past checkout, and where normally the staff of any other hotel would have been on our tails and getting pissed at us, they were very calm, understanding, and patient. After we loaded our truck up, we realized that our battery was dead. The lady at the front desk called her husband and asked the other staff there if they had jumper cables, and they did not. The maintenance man (Sterling) ended up showing up on his day off, when he found out the predicament we were in, he went and bought jumper cables and gave them to us to keep after he jumped our truck! Thank you guys so much for everything!!

Door lock broke Outrageous price gouging at $270 for two nights. Door lock was broken. People next door must’ve lived in my room before. The room was somewhat clean. The price was really what I didn’t understand. Only stay when nowhere else is available.

Lock issues in a shady environment There was no top safety latch and the door stuck and was difficult to deadbolt. People smoking on the stairwell, just hanging out was a little scary. Towels were threadbare and stained. It's right off the 10 freeway so you get all types of travelers, some unsavory. Wouldn't stay there alone again.

Dissatisfying Breakfast Check in was fast, room was clean and provided everything I needed. Pool looked nice and clean but we were too busy to try it out. Breakfast was dissatisfying. We like places that have breakfast so we can eat and get going vs dealing with weekend fast food long lines. What they had was ok it just wasn't much and it wasn't diabetic or healthy friendly. 1 option for cereal (frosted flakes), 1 option for pastry (cinnamon roll), juice and coffee for drinks. That was it. One day there was a few banana's but otherwise a very dissatisfying breakfast. Would have liked to have seen a couple of fruit options, maybe some yogurt, a granola or bran cereal, option to make toast a bagel, etc. I'm not saying they need to make eggs, sausage or even have a waffle machine. Just give a few other options.

Nice clean inexpensive room. Overall I was very satisfied. Our original room which was a single king size had issues. There was a large leak in the bathroom which left a flooded bathroom floor that we found upon check in. We also noticed that the manual security door lock had no latch point which made it so there was no way to lock the door from the inside. We were moved to another room which was a double queen and there were no issues in this room. It was very clean and staff was very accommodating.
