Wonderful hotel We were a group of 14 - were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation’s at this hotel. Large rooms (comfortable beds) with a kitchenette, nice sized bathroom & very clean. The only downside was no elevator, but they had wonderful staff to carry luggage up one or 2 flights for guests. Location is a short distance to the Space Needle & there’s a monorail from there, to Pike’s Place. There are renovations ongoing (for an increase in rooms for handicapper) but it didn’t interfere with our visit. It’s a lovely place to stay when you visit Seattle!

Needs updating Stayed here before a cruise. The hotel is not the luxurious experience suggested by the photos. Room itself had a comfortable nice bed but the bathroom was a state. I can see the intention is to preserve period features but the chipped bathtub where you have to hold the plug to drain water makes the room seem tired. Lots of noise from people outside and the building smells strongly of urine or just stale. I wanted to love staying here but it is very expensive for what it is. Staff were wonderful, that said.

It smelled really bad! Wouldn’t stay there again. A very cool historical building, but we couldn’t get past the awful smell. It was a strong, dirty and old musty smell. I don’t think we would stay again. On a positive side, the staff were nice and it was a nice neighborhood, close to the space needle.

Good "Classic" hotel with Charm and Location Not a big box hotel. Few amenities but a great place to stay. Several bus line stops are right out front. Our room had not been newly renovated but definitely looked like the pictures. Despite being on the ground floor on the street it was very quiet. Great location. We did not have a vehicle so no comments on parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Hotel. Perfect for sailing on cruise ship. Very close to the cruise ship docks. We signed up at the desk for a quick morning shuttle. A short Lyft ride to Pike's Place and wharf. A nice walk to Space Needle. A CVS is very close for anything you might need to buy. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Very clean bathrooms.Price was reasonable.
