Cute boutique style luxury hotel in Downtown Seattle This was my first time ever staying at a Warwick Hotel. Room was nicely decorated and furnished the first time I stayed in a renovated room. It was equipped with a queen size bed, work space desk, black out curtains, smart television perfect for watching Netflix, standup shower, closet with ironing board, by surprise the first time I already had a microwave in my room which was perfect for that night and making breakfast the next morning. One big complaint I had back in January was that the hot water wasn’t working the next morning. The rest of my work colleagues also didn’t have hot water that night/morning. Was kindly offered another hotel room but I had to make do as that morning I was leaving for work. Another visit earlier this February, loud construction was happening to upgrade several floors. I was woken up one afternoon trying to take a nap right after a long flight from overseas. Don’t get me wrong, the hotel is very nice, hotel front entrance is secure as you need your hotel key to enter the double doors, also the fitness center was actually not bad to just do cardio. Was surprised that there was an indoor swimming pool with a hot tub in the basement! I did use the fitness center once. Front desk was warm and friendly upon arrival.

We comp you, therefore we can do anything We checked in on Friday granted early at about 1pm. The reception wanted to charge me for early check in. Then Gave me the option of signing up on their web site so I could get that money back. That was already a bad sign. Then they did not tell us there was no hot water on the upper floors. We went two days without a shower because the water was freezing. This is a terrible excuse for a hotel. Please do your self a favor do not choose this hotel. I have been to a lot of hotels all over the world. You can see my reviews. This is my first bad review. This hotel is truly a terrible experience. DON'T STAY HERE!

It was different than I expected, but not in a bad way... Located in Seattle's CBD, the Warwick Seattle was central to major sights, comfortable, and full of conveniences. If you've never been, Seattle's like San Francisco... but on steeper hills. It's a bit of a trudge getting around on foot, if you're not ready for it. But if you like mountaineering... The Warwick's only a few blocks from Seattle's waterfront, which has Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium, various tourist emporiums, harbor tour piers, and more... but it's on the backside of the ridge that runs along the waterfront. Luckily, when I went in February, parking on the waterfront wasn't too difficult to find. I did do the walk a couple of times, and found it... a bit of a challenge. STEEP climbing off of the pier area... The district that the Warwick's in is pretty lively. Not just tourist traps, but local businesses cating to local residents. And it's a fairly short, flat, walk to the monorail station with a quick whisk to Central Seattle and the Space Needle. One bone I had to pick: the pool. It was a primary reason for choosing this hotel. The photo on the Warwick website made it look like a regular lap pool. It's about 1/3 the length of the lap pool I use at my rec center. That was fine, I could make adjustments. It was also popular! I was rarely there alone, or with other lap swimmers. Going in to get my laps done usually meant swiming around children, or having a conversation with the adults who were "just hanging out." (The pools' *really* comfortable: nice temperature - I can see why folks were happy to hang out there). But be forewarned: there's no locker room. There are two spacious bathrooms to use, and plenty of towels, so if you bring a change, you can leave the pool/gym area dry and dressed. Also, the hotel has an attached restaurant that's pretty good. Decent selection, well prepared. I did find one night, however, that the street enrance closed before the hotel lobby entrances. One night I planned on eating there, tried to come in off the street, found the door locked, went somewhere else and grabbed something quick from... 7-11?... (there are a couple of 7-11s not too far away... and a Whole Foods, too), came back in through the lobby, and found the restaurant's lobby entrance wide open and the place still serving. There were also plenty of other cool restaurants to choose from nearby: food access wasn't a problem. WIthin a block walk were a Subway shop, several bistros, a sushi joint, and a jazz supper club. The 7-11s etc. were a little farther, but not inconvenient. And if you missed all those, the Warwick had a vending machine with actual food (ramen, lunchable-style items) in the lobby for the *real* late night gourmets). Being fed in any way one wished (from $ to $$$$) at the Warwick location was easy. If you're a cinephile, the hotel's right across from SIFF (Seattle International FIlm Festival) Downtown, a former Cinerama screen theater. If you' love movies on a big screen with excellent sound: this is a theater to visit, a mere 30-second walk across the street. There were also a couple of multiplexes nearby. FInding a film I was interested in was no problem. Lastly: parking. The parking garage was right next to the hotel... it's not handi-capable. No elevators, plus steps to navigate. That wasn't an issue for me, but my parents, if they had come, would have had trouble negotiating the place. I'd have had to drop them off before parking. Parking itself... I am glad that I rented a compact sedan. That garage was tight to negotiate. The spaces were slim. Driving something bigger would have been a problem. ACCESS wasn't a problem: the parking lot staff were low-key professional and there were spaces available every single time I needed one. But parking... I was a little worried that I'd ding the cars next to me every time I parked (luckily, it didn't happen). There are a couple of other nearby options, but I didn't price them: I'm not sure they're worth researching... unless you insist on driving an SUV, then I think it'll be worth your time. Would I return to the Warwick Seattle? Yes.

Great hotel in Belltown I am writing to say I enjoyed my stay at the Warwick very much. The hotel is in a good location and only 4 to 5 blocks from the Sound Rail to the airport. Pike Place Market a 15 min walk or so. Hotel has pool and hot tub in the basement too.

Unexpected stay in Seattle We had a very pleasant stay at Warwick Hotel! We were stranded i Seattle for two days because of a flight cancellation. The restaurant attached to it, Margaux, was really delicate and the staff super sweet and friendly. Our breakfast waiter, Kelly M, was the best - thank you!
