Great place I have spent most of the past six months here while working in Fresno, usually Sunday evening to Friday morning. There are a couple things I want when I get checked in at any hotel: enough coffee to get me through the week and enough towels to get me through the week. Even without a pandemic, I don't want housekeeping services while I'm there. They always accommodated all this. The service was always stellar, even from the nervous guy who didn't work there very long. This hotel is clean. In most hotels, there are little spots of grime here and there, some worse than others. I did not see any of that here. Also, they have little bags of soap, shampoo, etc., that also contain a sanitized remote control for the tv so you aren't getting the last person's cooties from that. I did not use the pool or gym, but the pool looked enticing. It's probably not heated since this area is known for it's very hot spring/summer/fall. Special shout out to Andrew. He was always pleasant and helpful, and if he was there when I checked in, he not only made it quick, he also had everything in the room already so I didn't have to ask. If you are looking for things to do nearby, this is not the place. There is an auto mall down the street and some fast food places and Denny's across the street. Kaiser medical offices and an urgent care place nearby. Not much in the way of entertainment. There is a restaurant on site, Legends Tap House and Grill. It's ok, nothing to knock your socks off. They advertise that they have the best hamburger on Hwy 99, which may be true but it still isn't that great of a burger. It's not bad, just not special. But if you need a quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay, I highly recommend this place. The only thing that would have made it better is if I had just left my dirty laundry there and it was all washed, dried, folded, and put away when I got back. I do not expect that level of service anywhere, though.

Easily Nicest Hotel in Kingsburg- Selma Area I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. Customer service is always super-friendly here. The size of the room seems bigger than average for its price range, and it is quiet. The only minor issue is that bottled water would be a nice touch in the room - I've been spoiled by Hilton Honors in this regard - and Smart Water from the kiosk in the lobby is $4. Also, no in -room coffee maker; however, free coffee is available in the lobby. Oh, I forgot to mention, to be fair - they typically have delicious cookies available at check in!

Lost item left in room So sad to know that the housekeepers do not turn in lost stuff . I had checked out Sunday morning from our room and didn’t realize I had left my gold ring with my name on it until later that day. I called and the front desk said she had not turned anything in I said of course not it’s a good ring she will go turn it into money or have them melt it. All I wanted was for her to turn it in because I cleaned all bags I had with me and nothing is there so know for a fact it stayed behind in the room . Please do not forget any of your personal belongings behind because HOUSEKEEPERS will not return it .

Clean, comfortable rooms but lousy customer service The "Good": 1. Great location in Selma, right off Hwy 99 2. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. 3. A/C worked well--important in July in central California :) The "Not-so-good": 1. Almost ZERO information about anything was given at check-in....nothing about the restaurant, pool, etc. Some previous reviewers mentioned receiving vouchers or discounts on food/beverages, but maybe they don't offer that anymore because nothing was offered. Here's a suggestion: Even if you have to pay for breakfast, if you actually want people to eat in the hotel restaurant, first of all, tell them there is one and maybe provide a menu with breakfast hours in the room or at least at the front desk. 2. Prior to my stay, I emailed the hotel to request an IHG Platinum elite upgrade and was told one would be provided if available at check-in. IHG hotels are usually really good about this--not this one. On my arrival date, I noticed a few suites were still available on the IHG website so I went out of my way to check-in early, but was not upgraded despite the suites still being available at check-in. The best part about this property is definitely the rooms themselves, but the lousy customer service will lead me to look elsewhere for future stays in this area....lots of unmet potential here.

Great Holiday Inn Nice Holiday Inn. Given an upgrade for being a Spire member and excellent service from the associate checking us in. Was also given $5 voucher to spend in hotel shop(not sure if this is for being Spire, or for everyone staying at hotel. Room was recently renovated, clean and comfortable.
