Appreciation and Gratitude I want to start by thanking LaTasha G and her entire staff from the assistant general manager, Guest Service Agents, breakfast hostess, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance. She has always been very understanding and thoughtful of my requests. The room smells great, looks great, and the breakfast and indoor pool, and hot tub are my favorite. I always tell anyone when you check into a room make sure everything looks and feels close to home. If not, let the front desk know immediately so they have to chance to fix and resolve the problem. LaTasha and her does it all the time with a smile on their face. My boyfriend had surgery on December 9, 2022. I went off of two hours of sleep. I appreciate her staff contacting me about my arrival time as a courtesy. Some people dont realize when a hotel is in contact isn't always negativity. It can be a positive impact especially if you come far away. If you know you are going to be late check-in. Pick up the phone and contact the hotel on the day of arrival. If anyone plans on needing lodging to stay near the hospital, in urgent care, etc. This is the go-to hotel. Again Thank you so much ❤️_

Worst Sleep Inn I’ve stayed at I’ve preferred Sleep Inns when traveling because they are usually newer than Comfort Inn and Im a choice hotel member. This was the worst I’ve ever experienced and I’ve stayed an a lot of Sleep Inns. The TV was so loud and the remote wouldn’t turn it down and we couldn’t get it off of the screen that sets the language. The front desk said to come get another remote. That would t fix it because the remote was not the problem. The microwave was not plugged in and we had to find an outlet for it. The clock wouldn’t set. There was very poor water pressure in the shower. How do you get soap off with no pressure? There was no bath mat. The toilet didn’t want to flush or fill up when it did flush. There was no hot coffee at 6:30am. This is across the street from a medical center. I would think breakfast or at least coffee would be ready before 7am. Usually I am a person with a good attitude about everything. This experience made it really hard to be positive about our stay.

DISAPPOINTED stay at a Choice Hotels location Made a reservation online at Choice Hotels for a non-cancellation prepay room rate for 2 queen beds. Received an email stating that my reservation had been canceled. I called the hotel and was told they made a mistake. Got to the hotel and was asked for my credit card. I explained to the woman that it was prepaid. She tells me that the system does not show my card being billed (but it was). Then come to find out that the 2 queen beds on my reservation were no longer available because the hotel was booked up. They gave me a room with a king and a sofa. My 33 year old daughter and to sleep on the couch. They made the mistake but yet I had to suffer for it. NEVER AGAIN AT THIS HOTEL.

All good except… The hotel itself was fine. Not fancy but definitely clean and comfortable. We didn’t go to breakfast so I can’t report on that. There is a train track just off the parking lot if that sort of thing bothers you. Deadbolt on our room didn’t work. We reported it as leaving so hopefully they’ll fix it. What will keep us from returning here is a surprise $25 deposit after arriving and checking in to our paid for reservation. This is completely ridiculous. If we damage the room, they have our card number. $25 won’t cover much damage anyway. But it does irritate their customers!

Medical appointment stay My sister has been staying at this hotel while receiving Chemo treatments. The first couple of stays everything was clean, etc. This stay...not so much! When we first arrived I noticed "spots" in the bathtub and thought 'maybe' it was just old damage. NOT!! I turned the water on and rubbed them and they all came up. There was also a left over wash cloth from the previous tenant. The next morning when we were getting ready for the day, there were "live" bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. Really made me nervous that I had set my overnight bag on the floor. Maybe this is just a one time thing, and I hope so. Overall, the rooms are nice a spacious and the employees are very friendly and nice. But, next month when we visit, I will bring my disinfectant wipes and maybe even some bug spray...just in case.
