Awesome stay The Teller House is this antique old building that is very comfortable and cozy. You go in and your name is on the room that you booked. There is a coffee/charge/tv room you share with others. It was clean and exactly as it had been described when I booked the rooms.

Wonderful Stay This was the easiest hotel to check in/out of and very welcoming with your name on the door and the key on the nightstand. Clean, friendly, relaxed. I would highly recommend it. The old building makes it feel like Ireland. Simplicity is wonderful! Keep doing what you are doing!

Quaint and Charming This is a great place to stay if in Silverton. It is quaint and charming with lots of attention to detail. (Be aware that all rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator.) The location is perfect - you can walk anywhere in town. Our room overlooked the main street so we felt like we were part of whatever was going on, but the talking and cars going by did not keep us awake. Our room was large and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The gentleman who checked us in is also the owner of the Mexican restaurant downstairs. He was so accomodating and personable and shared lots of interesting information about the hotel. We would definitely stay here again if in Silverton.

Fun experience in a great location Teller House is a Victorian hotel from Silverton's heyday as a mining boomtown. The hotel is located on the second floor of an older building on Silverton's main street. It's centrally located within a block or two of everything Silverton has to offer. Walking upstairs to the hotel is an experience in itself. The building is charming and impressive and draws you in immediately. When we stayed, we never saw a single hotel employee! We arrived to find a sign on the beautiful, period reception desk telling us "If you have a paid reservation, your name is on the door of your room and the keys are on the nightstand." Since there are only about 10 rooms all located within eye sight of the reception desk, this was no problem and actually a welcome expedient. The room was large (ours had two queen beds) with large windows overlooking Silverton's main street. The small bathroom included a shower. A small breakfast room was just steps away and ice water was available in the hall. We felt like we were staying in an old west town at an old west hotel and having an authentic experience, yet we never felt like we were roughing it. We'd recommend this experience to anyone. The Mexican restaurant downstairs is good and the proprietor proudly makes all his own desserts so be sure to ask for his recommendation. We'll be back.

Authentic Victorian stay! There is not much chosie in Silverton, as it is a tiny mountain town. But The Teller House is the place to be to experience Victorian aesthetics of the late 1800's. We arrived very late - first went to have dinner before everything closes, and ocne stepped into the hotel, there were no staff; only a note that our room has our name on it and we will find keys and all necessary things inside. Quirky! We had a cute room with a view to the main street, huge Victorian bed and amenities. Another quirky detail - our room didn't had ensuite bathroom - we had to cross whole corridor to reach separate men and women bathroom. Women one was a real treat - large one with separate toilet, shower and dressing room with mirrors, hair dryer, armchairs... well that left like a proper charming luxury. It was such a fun experience! We actually live in London, UK, so Victorian style is not exactly rare to see for us. But this place, whole cute Silverton town is just some other level. More than charming!!
