Not bad just not up to our expectations for a Staybridge Suite We would rate this an average hotel. It's in a quiet section right off a mall area & was easily accessible. The room was fine, just showing its age. The pool area was dirty, as was the hot tub. There were no towels provided in the pool area & when we asked the front desk clerk, we were told that they don't leave towels out for guests because they all get stolen. It made us rethink the area.

Good, though more detail needed in housekeeping Upon checking in we were not notified that the carpeting was currently being installed on the floor we had booked. It was a little awkward having to walk through and over the poor men's work trying to just get to our room. After that upon inspection we found a moldy Apple under one of the beds, one of the door handles was missing a screw and kind of just hanging loose, on a door that barely shut correctly and made a lot of noise when you did get it closed right. There was dust in places that made it pretty obvious that they only did quick clean between guests. Out of three TVs we only had a remote for one of them, though the night front desk attendant was very helpful and brought an extra one up for us. Overall the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and I have no complaints about the people who are working there. I do believe there is some training that needs to be done in housekeeping, or they need to be given more time to clean the rooms. At least the big suites with two bedrooms. The breakfast was on brand for this establishment, though I did notice they ran out of waffle batter pretty fast, everything else was refreshed very quickly. The ladies working in the breakfast area were extremely nice. The pool was clean and quaint. Wonderful spa, very hot. The courtyard is very cute and I like that you can walk in between the pool and the front desk between the courtyard. Overall it was a positive stay.

Great for long or short stays Score for a great, clean room and hotel. The room had a kitchen with fridge and microwave, dishes were provided with a dishwasher. We had a sleeper sofa so we could relax without laying in bed. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Loses points for the breakfast. Sausage was cold. They did offer cottage cheese and yogurt with various toppings and fresh fruit. Also loses points for the AC in the room. It was frigid and right beside the bed. We had to turn it off, but then the room felt hot. Large outdoor patio space with grills available. Overall very nice stay

Best night of sleep in past 5 nights of hotel stays The room itself (and mainly the bed) was AMAZING! Best night of sleep any of us had during our previous 5 nights on this trip. Mattress was easily double the thickness of the other hotel we stayed at for 4 nights (which was thinner than the mattresses we bought for our kids' beds). And close to what we have at home so our backs didn't hurt the next morning. We had 2 bedrooms with doors and each had an en suite bathroom with tub, shower, and closet. This suite was bigger than our first apartment! Would be great if we needed longer term housing. Breakfast was perfect - excellent variety and it had my favorite waffle topping (sliced strawberries). Hot tub was a tad hotter than I prefer but bearable. Indoor pool room was stuffy but also unbearable. Ranged from 3' to 4'6" deep so the kids all had a blast. Pool water was a little on the chilly side for our preferences. The facility was a little on the worn side compared to places we normally stay at. And they are issues that should be easy fixes. For instance, when we walked in the built in style lotion dispenser piece was broken so it was unusable and a piece of trim between bathroom sink and closet needs some fresh adhesive since it was off the wall. All of the cushions in side chairs were flattened and the fabric worn. Those little things stood out in an otherwise great room. Only downsides were issues both at check-in and check-out. I really want to stay at this chain again but am concerned that the issue may be with their software. If there was a fire, I would feel better if the hotel had an accurate idea as to who was assigned to which room. I don't know which room they thought we were in but the first 2 people they asked about were not it. And they first sent us to an occupied room upon check-in and seemed perplexed as to why their website allowed us to book the room it did and yet they still gave us 2 different rooms of the same type booked. We were taken care of fairly and professionally but it gives me pause for the next trip because there were several issues around check-in and check-out. And the actual root of the issue was never revealed. Was it the person who checked us in? Was it the software? Software is what I lean toward but I didn't feel anyone was transparent with what had happened.
