Cheap, but you get what you pay for Stayed here for a visit in the Rutgers area. Room itself was clean enough, and the price was right. However, despite the rooms being allegedly nonsmoking, there was a pervasive cigarette smoke odor. IDK if that was due to guests actually smoking in their rooms, or smoke coming in from outside.

Avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs On arrival just driving into the car park it was dirty with rubbish all over, people just hanging around. Parked the car and when checking in 3 males were seen walking to the car and looking into it, felt like they were casing the car. Inside the hotel smelt of hot food and cannabis. Generally appeared like people with social housing/care needs ( not their fault) were being housed there. The room had flies, filthy walls, filthy carpet, filthy fridge, smell in the room. Corridors smelled of hot food and cannabis and filthy carpet and walls. Awful throughout. Felt very unsafe and the place was that bad we took the decision leave with immediate effect. The hotel isn’t fit for purpose for vacation destination or any other for that matter. If the owner feels offended by this review I would ask if you would stay in a place like this when travelling in a civilised country. I’m sorry the whole place was disgusting and felt unsafe. The photos advertised on Booking.com bear no resemblance in cleanliness etc to this hotel. Holiday makers avoid, avoid, avoid.

Would never stay here again. Needs shutdown. Hotel definitely did not match the online pictures. Hotel is dirty, dingy, worn and outdated. Here's the things that were wrong the one night my husband and I stayed there while traveling through: Bed was not on the base so basically fell apart the moment one of us sat on it, the other bed had stained sheets, 2 small bath towels not big enough to dry off with, no hand towels, no wash cloths. No hairdryer (front desk did not have one to loan). adjoining door was not locked when we arrived. There was a 2" open gap at the bottom of the door. Kids in next room screaming and running around well past midnight as well as other ones running up and down the halls screaming and loud. No elevator, booked on second floor so lugged suitcase up steps. Very sketchy place.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING// NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN The absolute worst. My friends and I are on a trip and one went to check in. Immediately, when he went to go check in, there was a concerning smell in the lobby along with cigarette smoke and weed. Very intense smell. And He was charged a $50 check in fee?? We were never told about this. As the rest of us went to park we saw a little girl running around as it’s 11:30 at night and groups of people just standing and sitting outside smoking with the side hotel door wide open. We parked and went to go in through the back door having us go past all bottom floor rooms. The hallways alone were just filthy. They had marker drawn on the walls and many dings and scratches within the doors, floors, walls, everything. As we went to the room we found dead COCKROACHES on the box spring and ALIVE ones as well. The room was filthy and reeked. And we decided to leave. This place needs to be shut down immediately. Very gross and unlivable.

Dirty unpleasant stay I booked our reservation through a third party app and when my fiancé and I went to check in, they couldn't find our reservation. It took more than an hour to us to get a room. I have asthma and my fiancé is allergic to smoke. He smelled cigarettes immediately. He asked the front desk if the hotel was smoking ir non smoking and we were told on smoking but the smell was evident. When we finally got a room, the room was hot and the temp could not be adjusted, the bed sheets weren't clean and there was hair in the bed. The overhead light didn't work and there were bags of trash outside of multiple guests rooms. In addition to the check in disaster, I was charged an additional $50 hold because I used a debit card but was not told of this in check in, nor was there any signage indicating this.
