Nice hotel. Box fan for sounds Good hotel for the price. Slept good. Beds comfortable. Stayed here on our way to Washington DC. Would stay again. Staff friendly. Breakfast was good. Had two rooms that’s were clean and would stay again if we were in the area. Semi trucks were a bit noisy at night driving by. But we had a box fan we travel with

Remodeled rooms with soft, luscious beds! Stayed only 1 night passing through on a long driving trip. Stayed in a 5th floor king bed room that had been recently remodeled. The bed was wonderful!!! Slept like a baby all night:-) The breakfast was the same quality as other Hamptons. It's one of the reasons we choose this hotel - they offer eggs and sausage/bacon and not just cereal and yogurt.

A brief but enjoyable stay Pros: Proximity to PA Turnpike and various places to eat, renovations are creating modern and pleasant rooms, friendly staff, outstanding free breakfast. Cons: Area definitely isn't a place of beauty. My requirements- a place to spend the night while passing through the area- were simple, and the Hampton Inn Somerset didn't let me down. Despite being in the middle of a renovation, I didn't experience any related inconveniences. In fact, had it not been for the rear parking lot filled with old furniture and fixtures, I never would have known work was being done. My spacious, clean, and comfortable room was new, and I'm assuming representative of Hampton Inn's current style. It included a sitting area, furniture with lots of storage, and a fantastic bed. I wasn't in this space very long, but it was a nice place to spend time. All of the staff I encountered was friendly, and the free breakfast was comprehensive, consisting of cereal, pastries, waffles, cheese omelettes, and crispy bacon. I've stayed at much more expensive properties and received much less to start the day, so this hotel scored points for exceeding breakfast expectations. The property is immediately off the Pennsylvania Turnpike exit- an area featuring a small variety of restaurants and convenience stores (with even more further up the road). Too bad it isn't much to look at- a charming main street this is not. However, it wouldn't stop me from staying here next time I'm passing through.

Somerset Hampton inn We stayed on a Thursday night then came back through the area on Saturday and stayed again. This Hampton Inn is what all hotels should strive to be like. Every area was clean and the employees were very helpful. Betsy gave us detailed directions to the 911 Memorial. We especially liked the American decorations. There were cookies and popcorn for us to enjoy. Lots of variety for breakfast. Hampton Inn should be very proud to have this particular property in their chain.
