PRICE GOUGERS Price gouging during Hurricane Beryl. I see the normal rate on a regular Tuesday night is around 55 - 65$ . I was charged 164$ plus booking fee for one night. Really terrible to take advantage of people who have had to drive all night to find a clean place to stay. Hotel was decent. Clean. But I stayed the next weekend at an upscale hotel in downtown Chicago for less than this....sad, shameful.

If you like mold... This place is really rough and there was a lot of mold on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom (see photo). It's the only hotel in Somerville so if I were to go back I'd drive to Brenham which is 18 minutes away for a hotel.

Wouldnt refund for Lake Somerville Fishing trip rain out We reserved this hotel by lake Summerville for a guided fishing trip. The tour guide canceled due to very bad weather. Hotels.com was willing to refund but the hotel owner would not. Keep it in mind if booking fishing trips, etc at Lake Summerville. I will use a different hotel for the rescheduled fishing trip.

reservations Booked months in advance 2 rooms for 2 nights for family coming in from Fort Worth I talked to the front desk for the reservations said all is good. ( im guessing they only took my First name L.O.L. they need more training.) when i got there around 3:15 to check in they had canceled one room. Due to the fact that they didn't have my Phone Number and a card on file. but they did have the first room when i went in. common sense will let you know i would need the second night. FYI they had my information because i asked if i needed to be there with my card sense i was reserving for someone else. they said no my card was on file. L.O.L. Pool didn't work Went home 2 days early. front desk was not friendly. I'm guessing gave my room for a higher price.

Never a disappointment We have family that lives in Somerville, and when we visit we always stay here. It's comfortable and beats sleeping on some one's couch. We have stayed in many hotels over our travels, and we are always treated well here. This is our definite go-to when in Somerville. If you are looking for a 5 star, this ain't the place. If your looking for a good, comfortable night sleep and to be treated right, this is your place!
