Seems New! Well above average vs. the typical Candlewood Suites. Seems like a recent build. Great deal for the price. Comfy bed. VERY clean. Pets allowed for very fair pet fee. Full size fridge, stovetop, etc. just a great deal for sure. Gonna make this my new go-to stop on my trips on I-80!

Unpleasant and unsafe Elevators were out of order, pillow cases were dirty, and for some reason, the power went off in the hotel and its parking lot from 4 am to 7:30 am. The power was out nowhere else. This was an unsafe, unclean, and unpleasant hotel stay. I doubt very much we will stay at a Candlewood again.

ZERO STARS This hotel is old and dirty and chargers you extra fees after the fact. When we checked in, we asked for a rollaway and one was brought to our room with NO MENTION OF AN EXTEA FEE but what do you think showed up on my credit card statement. Coffee pot didn’t even match the coffee machine. AC and heat are pushed into the bedroom via a VERY loud fan. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS!!!

Price Gouged and Stolen From I prepaid 7 days through Priceline then extended for 2. When I extended the man at the desk stated the 2 extension nights would be 69 each night, upon checkout the manager "Bob" said he needed to see my card to see what was going on. Seemed innocent enough so i handed over my card. He charged me $327. I immediately got a text from my CC company and when I asked Bob why he lied and said- Priceline only paid for part of your stay, they refused payment on the 6th night! "It IS WHAT IT IS MA'AM!" I was so shocked at this utter lie. I pulled up both my priceline statement and Credit Card statement and he refused to back down. I have 3 cases with IHG, Price Line and my WORLD ELITE credit card issuer against this hotel's transaction. I have been in the Travel Industry's customer care for 20+ years and never seen such a poor display of customer service or care for humanity in a member of "management". In addition to the blatant theft, my laundry was stuck in one of their washers for hours which caused me to miss a business appointment. They wouldn't allow more than 2 towels at a time in the rooms and the noise from the construction crews and the women they bring in made for an extremely unpeaceful and unwelcoming time. The smell of pot wafted through my room at all hours of the night. ALSO When using the "business center" I needed to print some documents--Kaycee at the front desk made it obvious with her sighs and eye rolls that it was inconvenient to give me any paper. She gave me 3 sheets and when I came back to ask if i could purchase a ream from her or if they could direct me to a store where I could purchase she became very smug and grabbed me 7 more sheets with an obvious lack of care. Worst Customer Service Ever. I tried to write off the first few bad encounters as the staff maybe just having some bad days but at the end of a 9 night stay it was consistent and the theft from management topped the cake. Lack of service by the employees is a CLEAR AND DIRECT reflection of their LACK OF LEADERSHIP in the management position.

Hotel Canceled Reservation The hotel was nice enough to cancel my reservation the day before arrival that I had made 2-3 months prior. I had booked with points and when they became over booked, they bumped me. Some friends that I am traveling with booked week of and since they were not using points, they got to keep their reservations. They would not help me book at another location, just told me I would have to call the reservations number. They also told me they would send me an email stating why they canceled my room, but I didn't not receive. Horrible customer service.
