Comfortable Stay We had a medical emergency requiring a full day at the emergency room and an extra day in the hotel. Accommodations were made for us and we didn't even have to change rooms. Everyone was helpful and polite.

Missing Breakfast, Adorable English Country Dancers and a Personable Shuttle Driver This is a strange hotel. It has "good bones" in that it is clean, spacious, newly renovated, and centrally located, yet the breakfast experience was positively bizarre. We have traveled to Vermont nine times over the last ten years and are still looking for the best hotel near the airport, as we always stay one night when we arrive and before we travel north. This hotel came close but couldn't cross the finish line.My family (Mom, Dad, and Child) arrived late at night, and the hotel sent a shuttle to the airport. The driver was incredibly kind and personable, so it seemed everything was going to be fine.In the morning, I awoke early to get breakfast for my family. I came downstairs to the breakfast room, ensuring I was there at least 45 minutes before it ended. When I arrived, I was shocked. This is a hotel that includes breakfast, but where had it gone? What was left was a series of empty bowls that once held some fruit, cereal containers with no milk in the carafe, a few packets of dried oatmeal, and a few muffins. As I attempted to gather provisions for our family, I noticed a lovely group of older women in the same position, trying to forage for food. No one monitored the breakfast area, so we began to work together. I found a stray banana and two bottles of juice. They found some plastic silverware and three yogurts. We looked for milk, but there was none to be had. I boiled some water in the microwave and ate an old packet of oatmeal to preserve the two muffins I found for my family so they could eat. I gave the two juices to the women, who were English Country Line dancers but must have had experience in food foraging. I tried to create a sort of fruit bowl with the banana, an old apple I found, the one yogurt I had (shared the others), and the milkless cereal for my daughter. I felt like I was on an episode of "Chopped."When we asked for help, we were ignored, and I never saw a staff person even look in our direction or refill breakfast. I lingered for a few moments to make small talk with the women and watch to see what would happen when breakfast was allegedly going to close. Turns out, nothing happens because there's no food to put away! I then retreated to my room with my breakfast creation, which was promptly rejected by my daughter. In the end, we went on our way into the wilds of Vermont. I often think back to the kindly women I met foraging for food at the inn; I hope they were able to dance with such little sustenance.I later learned there are some stores with food very close to the hotel. If only I had known, my family could have eaten. Please fix breakfast in the name of the sweet English Country Dancers

Nice hotel The company did a great job renovating the hotel. Before, it was really run down and the rooms were dirty. Now, The inside looks great and updated. The room I was in was very clean. I liked the walk in shower instead of the bath tub. The staff were pleasant and helpful

Newly renovated hotel conveniently located. We stayed at this hotel while attending a medical school graduation. The place was newly renovated, so the room was very cozy and the bed appeared to be new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay here again when visiting our family.
