Worth stay ever It was honestly one of my worst experiences in any hotel. The restaurant has been closed down for years but says that it is still open on the site. As we were traveling with a toddler it was extremely important that we booked at a hotel with a restaurant. STRIKE ONE. There is only one elevator and it is in the dead center of the hotel far away from any doors, so you will have an uncomfortable walk if you have a lot of luggage to bring. STRIKE TWO. There was a party directly across the hall from our hotel room. We made complaints and so did others. The party didn't get shut down until close to 11:30 pm (when staff finally arrived and asked them to stop) STIKE THREE. On top of all of that the fire alarm went off at close to 4:00 in the morning. So my toddler didn't get to sleep until almost midnight because of the party and then at 4:00 a.m. was awoken to an hour-long fire alarm. If it wasn't for the staff being so apologetic and polite and our room being extremely clean and up to date then this would be a one-star review.

Wonderful place to. Visit with friendly people We were welcomed at the fort desk by a lovely lady the whole place was so clean and fresh Our room was a great size and very clean had coffee and tea machine .In the. room …had a good breakfast we will definitely be back when we return to st Johns again

Decent stay for the price. Old hotel with good beds. No restaurant on location but amenities near by. Friendly staff and fairly clean.

It's OK but there are better choices in town. When booking a Ramada property, a certain level of everything is expected - this property does NOT cover that. ! To get to Reception is awkward and if walking challenged - a challenge. To then get to an actual room is a 'real' challenge. You need to somehow get up half a floor to get to the elevator. Alternative is to skip the elevator and take a side entrance but - that requires a lot of stair climbing. There is NO bar, and most important - NO RESTAURANT. ! A hotel of this size without a place for breakfast - that's something we have NEVER come across "anywhere in the world".! The entire place has a very 'best-before-date' feeling about it. NOT our favourite for any future trips.
