Quick vacation with family The front desk was very friendly & helpful when we arrived. There is popcorn & ice water with lemon in the lobby which is nice. Overall our 3 night stay was fine. The beds & pillows were not that comfy but we slept. You can hear a lot going on outside the room. At night I just turned on the fan on the ac to run continuously & it drowned out noise. The pool was a bit chilly but me & my kids still used it. There is a smaller wading pool which I thought was a hot tub when I seen the pics & booked the room haha (completely my mistake). It would be great for little ones. Breakfast was ok but kept running out of food, muffins, milk, waffle batter & it took awhile to be replaced every morning. On Sunday it was very busy and the poor young man taking care of it was also having to run the desk. That's ridiculous! You need to have at least 2 people...one doing breakfast & one running the desk & helping with breakfast. People were upset & a few were awfully rude to the young man but he handled it nicely. I let him know he was doing as great of job as he could.

Great staffa The staff here made the stay and were totally on the ball! They were in the midst of a severe thunderstorm that caused power problems and loss of services, dealing with that at the same time as they were checking me in.

Noise and Paper Thin Walls The occupants in the adjacent room were blasting their TV until after 1 AM. We were unable to get meaningful sleep. Front desk attendant tried to find us another room, but what was available wasn't any better with teenagers making noise on the first floor. The walls in this hotel are paper thin and there are adjoining, shared doors between rooms so all the noise comes through that opening, even when the door is completely close. The room was otherwise fine. It's just an old, outdated hotel probably built in the '80s that needs to be rebuilt. Whoever selected our room ignored my request to be placed away from the elevator and noisy areas. Our room was almost directly across from the elevator. I won't be staying here ever again.

Good stay at BW I thought I had a serious problem when I lost my meds but the good people at this hotel spent much time over days helping me get them back.
