Never Stay Here Semen and roach infested rooms, rude employees, sleeping security guard, and a WAY OVERPRICED deposit for this nasty, foul smelling room. It’s been days and they still haven’t sent my deposit back.

DON’T STAY HERE! This is without doubt the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Sure, it is very close to downtown St Louis but that’s about the only good thing about it. As you get off the highway, the neighborhood gave the impression it may not be that safe. That thought was confirmed as I stepped into the hotel and the front desk clerk was behind glass. I worried about my car because I could not lock it. I also had to put up a $100 incidental deposit. I was surprised when I entered my room at how clean it was. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, desk, flat screen tv, just as it was described in the listing. But I have never seen an audio only tv. I was able to get picture and sound on ABC and half a dozen HBO channels and one other I was not interested in. the other 100+ channels had no picture and some actually said audio only when I was flipping through and I know darn well that the channel has picture. There was a sign posted outside the elevator that the elevator was slow and to push the button. I freaked out a bit when I took the elevator to the lobby and the door did not open. Pushing buttons did no good. Eventually the door opened. I failed in my quest to find barbecue on a sunday night. After returning to the hotel still hungry, I made an inquiry of google maps on where to find a sandwich. It led me to a white castle 3 minutes away. In this neighborhood, I knew I was in trouble if my car broke down. Stay away. You will be far better off.
