Rodeway Inn State College - near University

Wonderful people work here! Wonderful staff that was kind and compassionate to a stressed out parent trying to get her son settled into his dorm. I also had another child with special needs traveling with me. This is not a 5 star hotel, but I got 5 star service and the warm welcoming smiles of the staff/manager was what I needed the most!

good value i was happy with my stay. it was clean and convenient. fair price. breakfast was included although it was pretty simple. only issue would be the tv didnt work or i couldnt figure it out. also my reservation couldnt be located on there end but i provided my confirmation and it was rectified

Overnight stay This was a decent overnight stay no bells or whistles but everything you need. The room was clean and the bed comfortable the coffee was amazing! I would return. The owners were very gracious and polite

Terrible Room 111 was terrible. Smelled like someone a month ago poured a water/pee and nobody dried the room well. We asked to change our room, but it didn’t happen. Manager said that all rooms are booked. After that we had to book another hotel. Because staying in that room was impossible. I called Expedia for refund. They contacted to the hotel and man at the front desk said that he offered us another room… It’s unbelievable because it was a lie. We went to the front desk two times and he didn’t offer us another room. Also they denied for refund. After that I called to the hotel. Front desk man started to say that he did offer another room, because someone canceled reservation… I was shocked, how people can lie so easily… So no refund, no excuses. Worst experience with hotels ever. Never will stay in roadway inn again

Best hotel i have ever stayed in the bathroom has a heater the ceilings are high and there is a window high up with nice curtains it was clean :) phenomenal location front desk lady was incredibly kind proximity to penn state was wonderful
