Bad experience This inn is old and ill maintained, floor and bed look dirty, not enough hot waater, wifi barely works. Oner asked if we'd want to leave when complained. There are many better places to stay at Stowe.

This is a scam business They would cancel your trip without confirming with you and refuse to provide refund. We asked about reschedule and never say we'd cancel. The owner refused the reschedule request, so we kept our plan, drove 6 hours there and were told the room was sold to someone else (within 6 hours). Stay away from this scam.

Was told to F-off by staff. A barking dog was left outside of the office manager's office in the cold for hours. When I asked the office manager to let the dog in, I was told to "f%$# off." Do not stay here. It's a dump and if that is the type of customer service you can expect it's not worth it. Stat away.

Great trip to Stowe The hotel is in a great location - close to town and slopes. The service was great - staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Would stay here again whenever in Stowe.

Rip off scam Unfortunately, this place is not good choice in Stowe. The town and resort are cute and I will return but not here. I bought my first epic pass and was excited to use it. I decided NYE in Vermont sounded cool. I went to the Epic website and selected Stowe. Clicking and turning, it led me to Hob Knob. I get a discount with my new Epic Pass, otherwise I would have gone with my usual hotel app. I call epic when my discount doesn’t appear. They tell me to show my pass at check in. I do. The owner says he doesn’t honor any epic discount and he is not affiliated as he is sitting under a large epic sign. He says he has never heard of such a thing. I don’t believe him. I think epic allows him to advertise while remaining off network. Collectively, they fool people like me. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe he will go to Stowe.com (also owned by vail co) and demand they remove his listing as it’s hurting his reputation. I suspect he won’t. This is a scam. For good measure, after discussing my disappointment with the owner, I told him my remote wasn’t working. He promised to check on it and get it fixed. I took a picture of its placement before I left for skiing on a hunch. It’s exactly where I left it and still doesn’t work. Avoid this place - the restaurant and bar is closed and the owner’s scruples leave much to be desired.
