Breakfast sucks Water park and rooms are ok. But the breakfast is horrible 1985-style food. Processed meat, cheap bread etc. Save the money and eat your breakfast somewhere else. Even Mc Donald’s would do a better job.

Extra extra extra... alles verboten We got here four people - two adults, two children. They got us two rooms - three floors apart...? ‘You should have called...’ - we did - you didn’t answer for three hours! Breakfast not included. Mediocre for 15€.... Had a coffee, probably brewed on corn and not coffee. Big signs everywhere with all the things you cannot do: don’t come to late for breakfast, don’t bring lunch with you, don’t walk on the lawn (the adults responsability that the children don’t), pay extra for bathrobes. Oh, and not a smile to be found. It’s the Ryan Air of hotels...

Overprized Hotel for a mediocre Service Looking forward to a week of relaxation, my partner and me booked 5 days at the Wyndham Stralsund hotel. We were shocked how small the bed for two people is (140cm) and asked at the reception if this is normal. We were then told that if we want a 160cm bed, this would be more expensive. We ended up putting our matress on the floor.Which is when we discovered why the bed not only small.Half of the bed was broken and covered with cheap wood (see picture). Generally,we are fairly easy going and had a fun week. Which we would have had anywhere though. The staff in the Wellness area is super nice actually and very friendly. Same goes for the gentleman working at the reception. The two ladies working at the reception though have most likely not made the right choice working in customer service. Under the line: The Wellness area recommended- Hotel not so much.

Below expectations The hotel seems to be managed by people with the idea customers will appear no matter what. The basic facility was very nice, but has not been kept up as well as it should be. Carpeting in our room was stained and the blackout curtains had holes in them. Management tries to charge for every little thing you may want. We asked for plain water with dinner. The waiter said that was not possible; the only option was to purchase very expensive bottled water. We were instructed where to park the car. The next day we were informed the price is €7 per day. The free parking lot is across the street. Dinner in the restaurant was acceptable. The nightly buffet is the only choice. The buffet breakfast was very good every day. Wait staff in management seem to have the attitude the customer has nowhere else to go.

Hotel gets dated We know the Hotel since Dorint times and always liked it very much, especially the Hansedom part. The rooms are now dated and the maintenance is not keeping up with the problems. Sample: In our Suite 802, the showerhead is not staying in one position as the slider to hold it is broken. So you either have to crouch down or hold the shower up with one hand. Carpets are stained in several locations. Room is very dark in the evening without proper lighting. On the desk, there are no wall outlets to plug in a laptop, unless you unplug the phone and/or the desk lamp.In the Hansedom ALL Erlebnis showers do not work with the functions offered. The jacuzzis in the pool were not heated and the jets did not work fully. The beach chairs were not looked after and some of the deck chairs were plain dirty ! In general, this hotel needs urgent TLC or it will disappear in the past.
