Great turn around!! This was my first time returning to the property since 2017 and it was not what I was expecting at all!! There were a number of issues with my stay even after playing musical rooms. The only reason I am still giving a high rating was because of how the staff handled the issues. Maintenance team was prompt in responding and the front desk was very empathetic even though a lot of my issues were out of their control.

If you leave anything by mistake, consider it lost even if they found it. I'll preface by saying I had been happy with Marriott so far as I business travel a lot (with Residence Inn and Courtyard) and am a platinum elite member so this is not a light complaint. Jul 13 I stayed here and made the mistake of leaving a set of keys in my room which had a Tile tracking device on it. I called the hotel after I got home to Virginia to confirm they found it. I was relieved. Hard part's over, right? I followed their instructions, paid for and emailed them a Fedex mailing label for my home address, and scheduled a pickup for them. Then it was a week of calling and emailing 'could you please ship my keys' until I finally received notification from Fedex that my shipment was on its way, only to receive an empty, unsealed envelope. I looked on my phone and my tile says it's still in Tarrytown. To this day. I called the hotel and they blamed Fedex and their tone was dismissive and impatient. I will file a claim but whatever happened between them and FedEx, the level of delay and neglect and dismissal up to that point is unacceptable from Marriott. Unless I go to Tarrytown again and walk around aimlessly ringing my tile, now I have to replace the tile, all my keys including a car key which will cost 250-300 dollars from the dealer, pay a locksmith to saw off a u lock from my bike because the bike key is lost and get a new bike lock, among others. 20 days after the hotel found my keys, they're eventually lost. It was immensely frustrating to watch something this straightforward be botched when I've done my part.

Worst Hotel in the World My wife and I stayed at the Springhill Suites in Tarrytown, New York from July 16, 2021 to July 18, 2021. It was a horrible experience: No air conditioning in the hallways during 90+ degree days Bedbugs Non-working vent in the bathroom Clogged sink in the bathroom Soiled carpets, inside and outside of our room Unhelpful and rude staff This is one of the worst, if not the worst, hotel in which I've ever stayed in the United States. It is shocking that such a hotel is branded by the Marriott! However, what's worst was the similarly rude and dismissive treatment I received from Marriott Corporate. Marriott's CEO, Anthony Capuano, never responded to my email. Instead, he delegated that task to a Beth Rosenlof who doubled down on Mr. Capuano's insouciance; and, the hotel's Customer Service agents, including supervisors, were just as insensitive. One supervisor hung up the phone when I asked for her name. I can only conclude that the shabby and unprofessional treatment I received at the Springhill Suites in Tarrytown is the official policy of the Marriott brand!

Not impressed We recently stayed here overnight. It was disappointing that this hotel does not have the same commitment to clean as other Marriott chain hotels in Westchester have. Not sure why this hotel still has a grab-n-go breakfast while others in the local Marriott chain have returned to a full hot breakfast? The TV remote was not sanitized, there were no wipes in the room and no laundry bags in the closet. Only one waste can - no waste can in the bathroom! The positives of staying here is that there is free parking and you're close to a supermarket, although the parking lot is VERY small and difficult to navigate.

This place is so very poorly managed The absolute worst!!! I called weeks before requesting an early check-in as our nephew's wedding was starting at 3 and we were flying in that day. When we arrived we were rudely told there would be no rooms available until 3. We've now been sitting in the lobby for 2 hours waiting for the magic hour when all rooms will be available. Ridiculous!!!!
