The Hotel Telluride

Great customer service They have great customer service! We found out even before we checked in! The road into Telluride had a mudslide and we couldn’t get there. Maps was going to take us hours away and we called and wonderful Connor told us exactly what to do. He stopped us from making the mistake of taking that route, gave us a Facebook page to monitor the county sheriff, and told us what area restaurants and markets were open if we could get to Telluride before they closed. He was very concerned we would not have had a chance to eat dinner. Luckily, the road opened! our room was ready and Connor even had a goodie bag for our dogs! We felt completely at home and well taken care of at the hotel Telluride!

Great people and place! I don’t usually leave reviews but I need to in this case. We were traveling from Florida and we decided to stop in Telluride on our vacation to Colorado. We decided to stay at the Telluride Hotel. Great choice! The staff at the front desk were so welcoming. We felt like we were in the old west. Our room was clean and the views were beautiful. As we are not used to the high altitudes we were doing ok. In the middle of the night my husband started getting short of breath, and was having a hard time breathing. I decided to take him to the ER, but I was uncomfortable driving on the winding mountain roads, so we decided to go down to the lobby for help. In a panic I got him down to the lobby where a young man named Conner was at the desk. Without any hesitation he got us in his car and took us to the local hospital. He was the only one there at the time mind you it was midnight, but he went out of his way to help us. Thank god my husband was fine, and it was altitude sickness. Now we didn’t have a ride back to the hotel. There are no Ubers in the mountains and if there are it would take hours to get one. So, I called the hotel, and sure enough Conner came back and picked us up. I can’t express how grateful we were to pick this hotel for our stay. Not only was it a very nice hotel, the staff goes out of its way for its customers. Thank you to Conner, and the Telluride Hotel for all you did for us. We very much appreciate it.

Lovely place So good I postponed my leaving two days. Lovely place. Quiet with incredible staff. I love the shuttles into town and have not used my rental car since arriving. Food is great and free bikes are awesome. The hot tub was so good I may need one of those at home.

A nugget from which to enjoy a stay in Telluride in an uncrowded manner. This little hotel is a jewel tucked into town of Telluride. We enjoyed the smallness, the service, the great restaurant and the views. Walking into town is very convenient as well as a number of hiking trails available. I understand it opened in the mid 80's and has been well kept. Our small balcony looked out onto one of the ski area's.

Beauty and comfort abound!! Hospitality and comfort at its finest!! My daughter and I stayed here in April, 2024. We were immediately awestruck by the beauty and grandeur of the lobby which boasted several large groupings of gorgeous, ornate furniture and a huge fireplace that was always lit, warm and inviting. Each morning, I savored their delicious coffee in comfort and style while gazing out the window at the majestic snow-capped mountains. The two hotel clerks were extremely kind, professional and helpful. Our room was immaculate and welcoming, with warm earth tones, a small kitchen area and a balcony. The bathroom was spacious and contained many amenities. The room lacked nothing, and was a joy to return to at the end of a long day!!
