GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!!! I am going to keep it real with everyone don’t come here.. even if it’s your last resort .. when our family of 5 checked in the man that helped up was nice but from there the hotel went down hill . The beds we got were both queens and we were only staying there for two nights so we did not need much but the beds are the worst they feel like a rock .. the vents were rusty … but my siblings loved the pool but they are toddlers so hey a pool is like the only thing that they loved going in .. they whole hotel needs remodeling it looks very vintage and old .. and this is where I wanted to pack things up and get the heck out of there so I what just watching my phone on the couch and next thing I know there are living bugs crawling on my neck and that’s where I drawl the fine line … so if you want my advice stay away from this hotel _ .. this is not a place I would ever let/ advise any family to come stay in.

Served its purpose This review is a little late. On arriving at the hotel , we were a little concerned as we thought the hotel looked very run down. We entered & got checked in by a very nice friendly man. We looked around reception & the breakfast room & thought it would be fine for one night. As we walked along the corridor to our room things went a little downhill. Our room was very large & had a huge bed that was very comfortable. However the rest of the room was in need of refurbishment. The curtains didnt close properly so we had to stand items against them to keep them closed. The bathroom was tired but clean & for one night it was ok. I suppose you get what you pay for.

It's fine for a night We booked through Hotels.com, mentioning that we needed a crib a month in advance. Well, come the time to check in and we're informed that they don't even own cribs/play yards, basically shrugging their shoulders. We would've packed ours had they told us in advance, I mean we did mention it in the notes, that they don't carry those items. Which is weird, because I've never stayed at a hotel that doesn't offer a crib/playyard for kids; it's a normal thing to expect. But whatever, the night was fine, the breakfast was ok. We don't plan on staying here again.

Quiet Large Room The room was big and decorated nice with antique furniture. We were at the end of the hall on the first floor. It was quiet. No smoking was good. We stayed three nights. The beds were average in comfort. The breakfast was average. The pool looked dirty, so we did not swim the. The convenience of the location (just a few miles from Galveston and the price was reasonable). Nothing special, but we did not spend a lot of time there...mostly to sleep. The only thing, they did not bring new towels or pick up our trash those three days. We had the Do Not Disturb sign up in the morning, but took it off when we left for the day. We would get back late, so we didn't bother them with getting the trash out, more soap and TP (we brought in some of our own) and clean towels. Disappointed. Hmmm?
