Amazing Really excited to see the view here, and with the snow!0 It's really big, and you can even run a little bit inside. And there are tables. It's both good for working and relaxing. The design is modern. Young people will love it!

Not your normal luxury Marriott Hotel If anything, the staff members are what make it worth staying here; all of them were extra nice and very courteous. The rooms are tiny, the motif is from the 1970's/80's , the beds are adequate, just watch the sliding door to the toilet/shower area; it gets jammed a lot leaving you stuck inside unless there's someone in the room to help you escape. BUT, there is lots of hot water, even from the cold water side of the bathroom faucet, and the towels were ok. All elevators were working, and they allowed us to park ground level (instead of the basement), which made it easier to get in and out. No breakfast but lots of coffee available, early in the am. Very small fridge, no microwave, a single cup coffee maker in the room. Noise levels from other occupants and people in the hallway are noticeable but not too distracting. At least it feels safe outside the hotel and it's a short walking distance to 3-4 restaurants and drinking establishments. This building was surely an office building at some time, and it is convenient to the Tulsa County court house, but it really does not compare with normal Marriott standards.

Not Marriott Standards We are SPG/Bonvoy members and have stayed at at least a dozen Alofts around the country. This one needs to be removed from the Marriott name immediately. The building is most likely the old county jail. It is DIRECTLY across a small courtyard from the Sheriffs office and courthouse - and you’ll get the clientele from those two places wandering around outside. Rooms echo horribly. We could hear conversation from rooms all around us. The A/C did work but dripped water, leaving a nice pond in the middle of the floor. The curtains are impossible to open - forces you to stand on the couch and desk in order to do so. The pool has no lights, nor does the pool deck - super unsafe after dark - and even bigger security issue - especially since anyone, hotel guest or not, can access the pool area. We had a week long stay booked next month for another stay but we canceled that immediately after checking in for this stay. It does not feel safe to be there alone. Really upset that we wasted points on this stay.

Never again Let's start with the good. I was nervous about the parking situation after reading so many reviews about $10/night and the tight fit into the garage. We were pleasantly surprised to get free parking on the lobby level, so no garage. We had an event at Cox center and this hotel is as close as you can get to it. A 3 minute walk at most. Walked in to a dingy hotel with virtually no lobby. There is a desk with some guys who stand around there. Mostly pleasant. We used the Marriott app to get a key so we didn't need to check in with the "desk." We got into the elevator that wreaked of motor oil. Arrived to our room to have it smell as though someone had smoked in there for years. This is a no smoking _ hotel! When laying in bed there is a foul smell of dirty feet that we can't quite find the source of. Previous reviews talked about the air conditioner not working. I wondered why you would need it in February, but now I understand. It's between 75-77 degrees in the room at all times. The air indeed does not work. The entire room is not very clean. The old alarm clock woke us up at midnight going off. Went to find a beer at the bar to find a closed due to COVID sign. Now for the finale. I called for a wake up call (they have no automated system) only for Justin to tell me "you will have to call back in the morning to see if we can accommodate a wake up call"....wait, what? If I call you in the morning I clearly do not need a wake up call. We travel quite a bit. I'm not a hotel snob by any means. I would never stay at this one again.

So disappointed I don’t normally leave poor reviews, however this hotel needs an exception. I’ll start with check-in. Finding a place to park was the absolute worst nightmare I have ever endured. Once we parked, we met the front desk clerk, and he was rude, unhelpful, and very unprofessional. Once we got to our room we immediately were greeted by the sound of a barking dog. This dog barked literally all night. When I alerted the front desk, I was told there was nothing he could do because the hotel allowed pets. After driving almost 7 hours, I really needed a shower. Once again, I was disappointed. The water pressure was nonexistent, and the temperature was lukewarm at best. After my shower, I took a look around the room, and saw the layout was absolutely terrible. It was laid out in a way where your voice is echoed off the walls, it would surely lead out into the hallway. Forget any sort of intimacy unless you don’t value privacy. While at this hotel, I went downstairs to have a smoke, and the building was surrounded by police cars. A policeman approached me and asked if I had seen a man walking around the premises wearing a black hoodie. I was immediately frightened, and when I asked the front desk about it, they blew it off like it was nothing. I value my safety, and would like to feel safe wherever I am staying. I highly recommend if you want to have a relaxing evening, weekend, or whatever you may choose, stay somewhere else. This hotel needs a lesson in guest accommodation.
