Great Hotel in Tulsa Hills We recently stayed at the Hampton in Tulsa Hills, as it is near where my mother is living. Our room was very spacious, with a desk, couch and small kitchen area. We had all the amenities that we needed, and were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and plentiful, with a great variety of choices. The location is right off of Highway 75, and directly across from the Tulsa Hills shopping area, which has a multitude of restaurants, fast food, shops and stores.

Just OK This hotel is ok but needs lots of help. The hotel is under renovation which is not disclosed in the description. We were given a renovated room but it was lacking in many respects. First, the ice machine on our floor was broken and the walk to the 1st floor was inconvenient. A number of little things: closet door had a makeshift closing latch, bathroom drain stopper not working, light bulb in bath was out. On a positive note the staff is friendly, breakfast above expectations, and linen was nice and fresh. The room was clean but hadn’t been finished out with a critical eye

Look elsewhere Okay for one night, I was happy it was not longer. This seemed promising until I went inside. Got in around 8pm and no one was around front desk area. There was a jug of lemonade out with some cups of you wanted a drink? The room was small, the bathroom was small. Everything just seemed tired and in need of some updates. Usually being a diamond member, there are waters already in the room when you arrive. I went back downstairs and a gal appeared and I asked for 2 waters. Thankfully she just handed them to me, but never said a word to me it was so odd. Seemed like the snacks and things were all locked up. It was quiet at night. However the smoke detector is right above the bed with a very bright white constant flashing light alllllll night long. Plenty of gas and shopping down the street. The area is great, but I’ll look for a different hotel next time I am here.

Poor Maintenance I’ve stayed here twice recently for a week each time and will not be back. It’s definitely below average Hampton Inn quality. No major issues; just overall poor quality. Two examples: First, I checked in on a Monday and when I tried to use the hairdryer a few hours later, it made a screeching noise and I literally saw sparks. So, I reported it to the front desk right away and made sure to mention the safety risk. When I checked out five days later, nothing had been done. It was inconvenient to not have a hairdryer all week, but I was much more concerned about the safety issue from the obvious fire hazard. Second, I used the exercise room early in the week. It wasn’t filthy, but there was trash left by previous guests and they were out of the cleaning wipes. Several days later, I used it again and the same trash was still in the same places and the wipes had not been refilled. The people at the front desk were polite and friendly, but nothing seems to be addressed even when I told them about it.

Solid, typical Hampton experience. Solid. Typical Hampton Inn and Suites experience. Solid, I'm guessing newish Hampton. Typical breakfast. Working equipment in the fitness center. Felt safe, which is not always the case in the Tulsa area. Parking area was dirty, but who knows whose fault that is.
