NEW Lobby! Pancake bot? This hotel has a brand spanking new, fully renovated lobby/front kitchen area. The breakfast service was closed for just a short time during my multiple stays, but opened up! Breakfast crew made something called BREAKFASTNUGGETS. Bruh, these nugs, I have yet to encounter some nugs like these. I controlled myself and held back, hopefully I see this mega-special treat again in my future travels. What is this pancake robot? I'm not sold, I haven't tried it, it doesn't seem appetizing at all--yet my mind is blown.

Gave our room away the night before our stay. I booked a room at the Tuscola Holiday inn in early March for April 7th, received a confirmation April 4th and then found that they canceled our rez 4:45pm April 6th because they"overbooked" - I'm thinking they were offered more money so we got the boot. This was the week of the eclipse. After 1.5 hours on the phone with customer service we were told that if we could find another place to stay we world be reimbursed. We told customer service that we found one for$504, were given the case number and how to submit the request only to be told that the max they would give us was 20k points- enough for one night, maybe. That might give us a room for the night but what if they "overbook" again? WTF, Holiday Inn.

Very convenient to interstate -- Friendly staff -- clean & comfy room No complaints about this property. Rooms comfy & clean. Breakfast standard hotel fare -- cooked well & sufficient. Employees friendly & efficient. Right next to the Interstate but no road noise at night. Web site needs to be updated --- "shop at outlets of Tuscola" is very misleading. Reality.... numerous outlet mall BUILDINGS that are mostly vacant. Maybe five stores in the entire complex.... everything else is empty or occupied by State of Illinois offices. Sad to see it this way because it used to be a thriving center.

We have stayed before and probably will again We stay here during the Arcola Broomcorn festival, we are vendors so we are not in the hotel much. Bed is great and room is pretty clean. I do wish they would get rid of the carpet so the floors could be cleaned easier. Room was cleaned and made up the first day but not again. When we arrived we only had 1 towel in the room so had to go get more. Breakfast is really good for a free one. Biscuits and gravy are very good. Hotel staff is very friendly and when they have them at the desk the free cookies are relaly good. Pet friendly makes it nice too since our fur baby goes everywhere with us.

Bad! Gross! Smells! Being an IHG Platinum Elite member, my husband and I travel and spend lots of nights in Holiday Inns. We booked this hotel on our way to Florida and arrived around midnight. The desk employee was very nice and welcoming. However, when we walked into the hotel, we were hit with some horrible smell. Got checked in and went straight to our room after driving all day ready to sleep. I always, ALWAYS check the bed immediately. I pulled back the sheets to find over 30 black hairs all over the bed. I normally do not flinch at one or even a couple but this was ALL over the bed. Went back to the desk and the employee gave us another room, but a king like we booked but two queens. We were so tired, we did not care and just wanted sleep. When we walked into the room, another horrible smell hit us. Looked immediately at the bed, this time to find no hairs. However, the rest of the room was extremely poor quality(stains on the floor, bathroom mold in corners, bugs under the sink). If it would have been earlier in the night, we would have left and found another hotel, but we were exhausted and needed to be up in six hours. Beds were fine and was able to get a good night sleep. Only great thing I can say about this hotel, is the water pressure in the shower. That was amazing and unexpected. Breakfast was cold and not good. Left with just a cinnamon roll. Out of all the Holiday Inns we have stayed at, this is by far the worst. I normally do not write reviews but felt a need to let other IHG members and others know to avoid it at all costs! The smells we experienced, we hope to never smell again.
