Customer Service Tanya is an amazing lady, and her customer service was second to none. She was able to help out me and gave me the utmost respect even when I got frustrated. IHG hotels never cease to amaze me. If you are ever in Tyler Texas for a business trip and need somewhere to stay, I highly recommend Staybridge Suites.

Elevator needs work Elevator broke. We could not go up to our rooms on the third floor, One person had to bring our things down by the stairs since two of us use walkers and I have a bad knee. We spent the night in a double suite on the first floor. They voided our keys saying the rooms were rented for the night. So we are moving again.This has caused us to be later leaving and we will be charged for tonight whether we stay or go. Rooms are nice other than the low commodes. Most of the staff are very nice. I had reserved for nine nights. Hope to leave after eight.

Pleasant stay, dog-friendly We stayed here for a week and it was a perfect set up for our two "old lady" dogs. I called the day before and asked for a 1st floor room near an outside door if possible. They were able to accommodate us and it was a breeze for quick potty breaks. Plenty of grassy areas for the dogs to check out.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL I would NEVER stay at this hotel! My hotel reservation was cancelled on 10/14/23. The FIRST LIE that I was told was that I cancelled the reservation by their desk clerk on duty at 5:38 p.m. I was left in a distant city with no help even getting other accommodations there are anywhere. On 10/15 IHG was contacted and they contacted the hotel directly. The person on duty said that the reason the HOTEL CANCELLED the reservation was that there was no credit card attached to the reservation. As it was a prepaid and confirmed reservation, the IHG rep looked and saw that there was nothing wrong with the credit card, and that the hotel had cancelled the reservation. The SECOND LIE that this hotel told today by their GM was that the credit card was declined. It was a preapproved and authorized charge. After checking with the credit card company, it was never even attempted to be run by the hotel and it certainly was not declined. They simply chose to cancel my reservation arbitrarily at 2:52 p.m. (8 minutes prior to check in) and give the room to someone else. They have lied to me, they have lied to IHG, and in the process, changed their story every time their lie was disproved and they had to come up with a new story. CLEARLY the hotel staff, beginning with the desk clerk on duty, the manager, and most recently the GM do not have the truth in them and leave a 20+ year IHG member out to dry. They do not care about the customer and I would recommend everyone stay away from this property. If they make a mistake, they will not own it; they will tell lie after lie and change their story repeatedly. “That is their story and they are sticking to it....” whichever story (lie) helped them to explain away their INEPTNESS and SHODDY BUSINESS PRACTICES – STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY -DON’T BE A VICTIM LIKE I WAS.

What’s not to like? This is a great place to stay. They had food and wine for free as part of the stay. There was an exercise room, swimming pool, laundry, internet, and we had a suite with a kitchenette. The staff was great. I heartily recommend this establishment!
