Excellent and the staff were so helpful when we had a problem We stayed here as part of a combined ferry/hotel package through BC Ferries. We had booked for a harbour view room with 2 Queen beds for the 3 of us with but unfortunately something went wrong with the booking and the room we got had one King. The staff here were great in giving us other options until we found one that worked. They even compensated us for the inconvenience by giving us breakfast vouchers and covering the cost of one of our dinners. Thank so much for sorting these problems out and going the extra mile. We have stayed here now 3 times over the 18 months or so and will be back K

Nice hotel, but first impression ruined it When we checked into the hotel, the receptionist gave us our room keys, as normal. There were 6 of us traveling, my family of 4, and our grandparents. When we were booking our rooms, we got 2, 1 was set for 4 people, and 1 was set for 2. But when went to our rooms, it was my grandfather's name on the TV, not my mother's. We then realized that the room that the receptionist said belonged to my grandparents was actually ours, as it was much more spacious, and had 4 towels. We all had very high expectations for this hotel, and it was very annoying when we had to switch rooms, because we only realized after we had unpacked all of our smaller belongings. Instead of saying which room was for 4 people, or which room was who's using the names on the TVs, the receptionist just handed them and randomly said which was which. The rooms were very pretty, but it's frustrating how this happened. Then we had one more problem after that. We went out to the parking lot, and saw that some people had receipts in their cars. So we made a call, and turns out we need a parking pass. Overall, the service just isn't great, and it's clear that this receptionist can't do her job.

One night and already disappointed… hopefully second night is better Was very excited to stay here and because of availability and COVID etc the price wasn’t cheap. First trip away from children in 2 years and was really looking forward to relaxing… the first morning the alarm went off at 6am because I assume the previous guest had set it. There was no going back to sleep after that (I guess I should have checked before going to bed __‍♀️). Upon arrival my husband had a bottle of wine delivered to the room to surprise us which he paid for in advance. Not only did it take him an hour to set up apparently, it was a mini bottle and he ordered a regular bottle. We ordered another one right after through room service and they delivered it to the wrong room, so after a half hour we called back and they re ordered and another 20 minutes until we got it. That is just our first night so far… I hope it gets substantially better. Either way… don’t waste your money, the service is average and the rooms are not worth the price

Go for harbour view Great stay. Hotel has great view of the harbour including the legislature and the empress. It’s a bit further than other hotels downtown, across the Johnston Street bridge but not too far away Room was large and has fridge. It’s worth spending a bit more for harbour view. Restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast

Our annual visit We have stayed at this Delta Hotel annually for the last few years when we visit Victoria. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a seating area to enjoy the view of the harbour. Staff were most helpful. Due to Covid there was no room service but it was excellent to get more towels if we needed. Inside the hotel is a secure bike room which was convenient for coming and going with our bicycles. The only Con to our stay was we thought the hotel rate was a bit expensive.
