An unforgettable experience We recently got married at Waterton Park Hotel and had the most amazing experience from start to finish. We stayed for a full week after the wedding, and every single day was just as special as the wedding itself. The whole team went above and beyond to make not only our big day, but the entire stay, truly unforgettable. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt completely looked after throughout. A special thank you to Olivia, our wedding coordinator, who made the planning and day itself stress-free and seamless; Sophie at reception, for her warm welcome and support; Cat in the spa, who was wonderful; and Issy, the masseuse, who gave the most relaxing treatments. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or better team. Thank you for making such a special time in our lives even more magical. Wedding at Waterton Park Hotel First off, the venue is gorgeous. It's very well kept, it's very green and healthy and lots of great areas for photos. We fell for this venue very shortly after seeing it. We dealt mostly with Pauline and Olivia for the organising of the wedding, they always replied promptly and their replies always answered the query. They were also really friendly and nice to deal with. After seeing a few other venues and generally talking to other people and looking online, the price to hire this venue is great value. Unsure if we just got very lucky with the deal we got, but it was great and included a healthy base of guests, which extras could be added on to. We had the ceremony in the Waterton Suite on the first floor and it looked great, was a great size with room for more guests than we had (64, including us). The sound travels well, so no issues with guests at the back hearing the vows. We then had reception drinks outside. Luckily we had good weather on our side! Everyone enjoyed it - the island is just really picturesque, so great for photos, and is a very calm environment. The canopes were also very tasty and the staff very friendly and polite. Pauline put aside food just for us, as we were busy with photos and stuff it was great to know we had food waiting. We then had the 'breakfast' in the same room as the ceremony which was changed to accommodate this, again it looked great. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. The flow of food was also great, from after my speech and between the courses. The reception was then in the boathouse downstairs, which honestly was so good! We had a live band and they sounded great in the room. We had ~90 guests in the evening and the area was comfortably full, plenty of room for people who didn't want to be on the dancefloor or needed a break outside on the decking over the moat but full enough where it felt like a party! We were well looked after the whole day and everything went so smooth which we can only thank them for!

Great hotel, idyllic location. Staff excellent. Contacted the hotel by email about October last year as it looked an ideal place to stay for our annual golf outing in 2025. Followed it up with a hotel visit to discuss details with the Events Team who made me feel very welcome. We discussed the hotel in general, dining options including private dining, bedrooms and pricing for the eighteen of us who would be attending. Subsequently I had no hesitation in choosing the hotel, it would be just perfect for our group. So I booked eighteen double rooms for single occupancy for four nights from Sunday 31st August until Thursday 4th September. Between October and our stay communication with the Events Team was first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Needless to say our stay at the hotel was marvellous. On the Sunday evening we had a super three course meal in the private dining room of the main hotel building. Although there was rain around we managed to stay dry for our three days golf so we were very lucky. Following our last day golfing on the Wednesday we had our “Gala Dinner” in the private dining room in Walton Hall on the island. Dinner and service like Sunday was excellent. I’ve had loads of feedback from the guys since our trip ended all very positive. Great hotel, lovely rooms, superb location, marvellous food, staff top class to name but a few. So all I can add is a big thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay such a memorable one.
