Fabulous spa day Spa day for my daughter in law and my own birthday. Fabulous location and hospitality. Michelle checked us in and gave us robe's, towels and slippers, she explained all about the facilities that were available for us to use. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, especially sitting outside in the hot tub with a glass of prosecco overlooking the lake. A big shout out to Michelle for her being so friendly and looking after us, thank you xx

Faultless Excellent overnight value for money break - It was £149.00 and included room for 2 , £30.00 each towards an excellent dinner , lovely buffet breakfast and use of the leisure facilities . I honestly couldn’t fault it

Disappointing Quite a varied experience. All the staff were lovely which was really nice. Grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained. Outdoor hot tubs are lovely, which is good as you have to pay £15 each for access to the spa, which is not the best. the steam room was of order and the pool was freezing!
The quality of the rooms and the food were both really poor. Food is completely overpriced for what you get. Extremely small portions of low quality food which feels like it has been precooked and heated up, and not in a good way sadly. Menu choices minimal. There is no nice area for after meal drinks either. Just a big room with no ambience/ atmosphere so always empty. Such a waste.
Rooms are very dated with poor equipment. We had a couple of issues however they were resolved really quickly and effectively.
All in all, despite being in a lovely setting and having really pleasant staff, it really feels like the hotel is toiling and that the owners are ensuring that every opportunity is being taken to add money on to your stay, despite the quality of what you are paying for being poor.

Good quality hotel, lovely grounds and spa We visited this hotel for a Saturday night in January, to celebrate my Mum’s birthday, and had a fabulous time.
We had a standard room, which we thought was very spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was fantastic, with a huge, deep bath tub and shower.
We ate in the Grand Cafe and had a lovely meal. My partner and I had the vegetable curry, served with rice & naan, which was delicious and filling.
The hotel is set in lovely grounds and we enjoyed going over the bridge to the old hall, where there is a lovely bar and spa area. We did not have time to try the facilities but the pool and hot tubs looked amazing.
There is a large car park and good WiFi.
Staff were very helpful and friendly too. We would love to return, perhaps in the summer, when we could enjoy the grounds further.

Lovely relaxing experience We had a lovely time at waterton park hotel and spa for our mother daughter spa day.
The grounds are breathtaking, the staff are all very friendly and attentive. The outside hot tubs were a real treat and we both really enjoyed our treatments. We left feeling very relaxed and pampered.
