Nice - but well worn. Very nice, clean and quiet. Ella at the front desk went out of her way to be friendly and helpful. Huge full suite for basic room (living room and separate bedroom with bath in between. Negatives: - breakfast was not complimentary. - lots of signs of wear and tear, especially furniture and drawers. Latter were chipped and scratched.

Dirty This is barely a 1-star hotel. Dirty, dirty and dirty. The furnishings are beat up. The room I stayed in has food stains on the walls and a door lock that looks like someone tried removing it. I can't believe this is actually a Hilton. The location, parking and friendly staff are the only positives.

Tired Hilton in Waldorf MD The exterior of the hotel and the lobby area were nice and we were greeted by a very friendly front desk clerk. However, the rooms were very tired. First the hallway carpets were stained, as was the carpet in the room. There was also an unpleasant odor in the room (likely from cleaning products, but it was quite strong). The shower was also older (though worked fine). Also, the ice machines on the 3rd and 2nd floors were out of order. I guess I can't really fault anything specific, it just felt old and worn out - and for the money we paid (close to $200) it was not a good value

Good Stay The hotel is a little tired and worn but the staff was very good. Typical Hilton Garden Inn Lobby with a very good breakfast. The exercise room served its purpose for a cardio. The location is also good if you need to be in Waldorf. It was a good stay

Not the best We stayed at this hotel for an event. The front desk staff was very nice. The room, not so much. There were large stains on the bedskirt and the ironing board cover. I had to iron my husband's shirt for the event and I was a little afraid to put it down on the ironing board cover. It was okay for that night, but I wouldn't stay there again if I had a choice. Also, when my husband was waiting for the elevator, he was standing near some of the housekeeping staff and he said their conversation was very loud and very inappropriate for the workplace. Hilton, you can do better.
