Unique Hotel Charm Quite little hotel/bed & breakfast. We enjoyed the unique layout of our "room"-it was more like a suite. It actually had two rooms and two sinks and a separate room for the bathroom - worked very nice for our family and the kids enjoyed having their own bedroom. Felt like I was staying at my Great-Aunts house-which is a good thing! High ceilings, homey touches, comfy beds - we enjoyed this unique hotel!

Triple winner Enjoyed dinner on the patio to the western music of Kirk Corsair. Music was relaxing and original, service was attentive, and the ribeye steak was juicy and perfectly seasoned. I don’t know about the hotel, but the restaurant side of things is running well. Many thanks to Serena for great service!

I seek out small town, historic, locally owned hotels. The owner and our host Karen was very helpful and communicative prior to our arrival. While we were there Karen was gracious while still running a tight ship. Patio dining with live music, good food and generous cocktails. Motorcycle friendly. I loved the La Plaza Inn.

Wonderful!!! Old hotel. Very well kept and very well furnished. It’s a nice little town. We did an early morning walk along the nice, quiet streets before breakfast. Very nice folks. Very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay here.

One night stay in Walsenburg This is a quirky budget hotel and just about met my expectations. The owner/ staff were friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean and comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant but it does not open on a Sunday evening which was when we arrived. Most other eating places were also shut on Sunday evenings, breakfast the following morning was good. The only other problem was what seemed to be the constant passing of trains during the night at the nearby rail crossing. Earplugs were supplied and were needed.
