Would stay again..... Stayed here 2 nights for our grandson's Colby graduation. Wonderful welcome upon arrival. Ladies at the desk could not have been nicer. Our room (2 queen beds) was immaculate. 24 hour coffee/tea in the lobby. Coffee maker and mini fridge in the room. Breakfast is the typical Hampton fare. No complaints. Plenty of parking. Close to the college. Would not hesitate to stay if in the area.

Comparing two Waterville hotels Our trip to Maine came in 3 parts, two nights at the Hampton Inn, 2 days(sunny!) with family in Jackman to see the totality, then 3 nights at the Holiday Inn in Waterville. I can’t help but compare the two hotels. Staff was friendly in both, although Holiday Inn Express (EX) had more staff for cleaning (even the elevator smelled fresh!). The rooms were good, we had one king and one with two queens and we were comfortable. EX had a scrunchable pillow, which I like. The free Wi-Fi was good in both and both had free breakfast, Hampton 6-10, EX, 630 to 930. Hampton had the usual fare, including a waffle maker and two flavors of batter. EX has a pancake maker. I found the breakfast meats and the eggs superior at EX. Both are located close to the I-95, though on different exits. EX has more retail and restaurants nearby and hence more traffic. The Hampton was comfortable and convenient, but I give the Win to Holiday Inn Express. Note: the Hampton hosted two college teams while we were there, that were in town to play Colby and Thomas, so if you’re looking for attractive young men, this might be the place for you.

2 Thumbs Up We stayed here one night for the eclipse. Was very clean and seemed like a fairly new room. The walls are thin as we heard weird noises coming from next door, but thin walls seem the norm in hotels nowadays. If ever this way gain, would definitely stay here.

Perfect Hampton Inn experience This was exactly what a Hampton Inn should be: clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, simple breakfast. We were there as a family of four for the weekend—it was a great location to get to Colby College and downtown Waterville in less than 10 minutes. Staff was very nice and breakfast was the usual offerings—and there is a Dunkin Donuts next door to supplement!

Exceptional Customer Service Nate Blair, GM of the hotel, runs a great place and was able to meet a special request during a very busy Homecoming week. If you are in the area for business or pleasure, I can highly recommend. Thanks again, Nate!!!
