Not bad I’ve stayed at several Weatherford hotels lately due to being a travel nurse. This hotel has fair pricing and doesn’t look bad. Staff are friendly. Floors are laminate so there are no stains or odors. Looks recently painted (except trim/ baseboards). Water temperature was good, but hope you don’t want to take a bath because the tub’s plug doesn’t hold water. Is located directly across from a travel stop so may have trouble getting out on road due to trucks. The after-hours entrances don’t work. You have to ring the door bell on the outside of the building to be let in.

*Happy Holidays*! I love NICOLE MIERS (1984s) At the particular lodging at: Econo Lodge-Weatherford, Texas Address: 2207 Old Dennis Rd, Weatherford, Texas 76087 customer service phone: 817 599 3705 I was given a room on Christmas Eve in 2023 and stayed in room 114 alone. It had a broken door lock, a broken alarm clock, a phone with no hotel information on it, no free continental breakfast. I am a 7.9 year vegetarian, non pets/non marijuana/non cigarettes and indeed, I thought it was shoddy for it came to: $75 and the outdoor sign stated $39.99 and up. -Nicole Miers (DOB: 10 15 1984)

Needed a place to stay, wouldn't stay here again We needed a place to stay with our grandson after some confusion at Worth Ranch (Boy Scout Camp). We couldn't get a room in Mineral Wells (baseball tournament) so had to go into Weatherford. This was one of the few rooms available on the west side of town that had two beds so we booked it. Mistake. First: old, outdated, two story hotel with no elevator or rooms on the first floor. My husband and I have bad knees so it was hard getting up and down. Second: no breakfast (saw there was on the booking site) which was blessing in disguise as we found Tanya's Cafe going back through Mineral Wells to return our grandson to Camp. Third: noisy. Right across from a truck stop. Nothing against the truckers, have several in our family, it was just the walls and windows were poorly insulated. Now, about the room itself. The two beds were full size, not queens. The carpet was sketchy so we kept our shoes on except in the shower. The AC unit was loud. The beds were hard and each only had 2 small pillows. The shower curtain didn't have magnets to hold it in the tub so it would blow open. The shower head spayed water everywhere and we couldn't get it dialed (it had regular spray or massage spray) where it wasn't spraying the shower curtain and ending up on the floor. The refrigerator needed defrosting and smelled funny. The microwave needed cleaning. And the piece de resistance - the toilet was not properly attached to the floor. Every time you sat, or got up, it made a large booming noise and would shake. Overall, not a good place to stay if you can help it.

Denied a reservation My children and their family that included an infant, arrived today for their reservation and the hotel and they denied talking to anyone. They had no room and left this family homeless. Shame on you. Buyer beware. It took me longer that it should due to incompetent staff and English not being their first language. Do not trust.

Avergae only because room was nice 06-16-20 EconoLodge Weatherford TX #123 This was the 1st Choice property that did not seem to care about the Corona-virus. Never saw any front desk staff, housekeeping or maintenance staff during our 4 days wear nor even have a mask. Makes you wonder how much they are doing to clean rooms since bathroom floor always stuck to your soles [we bring house shoes just for such reasons]. Should get discount for not serving breakfast, blamed it on Corona-virus, but other Choice had you get breakfast but take back to room. Did not even offer coffee which other Econolodge and Quality Inn did – just saving money with excuse of virus. Had young lady running front desk – totally not qualified – took her 5 times before she got two keys to work – every time one would work the other not – she even tried to tell me that if you use one key the other one will not work – just dumb logic. Asked her how to get to Weatherford center and tried to tell me the wrong direction. Pointing left and saying turn right. Told me just to go to High School and turn, told I have no clue where high school is since I am at hotel. Fridge did not have a freezer compartment for ice packs – we are here for 4 days and need ice packs frozen for day trips. – They exchanged fridge, but 1st asked me to help carry it – I’m, a senior and that was not going to happen. The bathtub and walls are a plastic, yet they have rust stains in the corners. They tried to tell me they were metal and it is normal throughout this hotel. I walk in the front door and no one is there. This happens in early Am and in PM when we come back from eating. They are usually the room behind the desk area with the door closed. Little security on who enters. You ring the bell if you need something and they come out of the room. On Tu 18th at 0630 no one at desk. At 0739 No one at desk. I ran bell and NO ONE came, so I left. The chair for the table in the room will not lower to go under the table, therefore the arms are all beat up. 06-16 HSKP stole a whole bag of recycling, already squished by me. The bag was behind a case of Diet Pepsi and a case of Root Beer. It was not close to any trash can and you had to reach behind the two cases to take it. It is the 1st time at a Choice property that people went through food items to steal recycle and for something as petty as recycling for about $2. Disgusting! HSKP kept forgetting to leave conditioner, shampoo and cream. Front desk even told me they do not have conditioner, but he did manage to find some. No business center for printing or using computer. Asked the tall gentleman at the frond desk for an email address and owners name, could not provide one, but said he could take a message.
