Great motel. We stayed two nights and had a great stay. We asked for a regular room with two beds. The clerk, a woman, gave us an extra large room for no extra charge. In addition to the two beds, it had a couch, two sinks, and lots of space. The room was clean and well kept. It was quiet. There was 24 hour coffee. Breakfast lasted until 10:00, not 9:00, which we appreciated. All the staff were friendly.

Not a well managed place to stay... We do not typically stay at this chain of hotels. However, we were scheduled to visit with family in southern Wisconsin (Cedarburg) on the same weekend when a a bicycle race was happening in a neighboring town and a motorcycle rally in yet another neighboring town. Thus, options were profoundly limited. And, frankly, this was the only nearby hotel that offered an available room. Our stay was less than stellar. We checked in and dropped our luggage in our room before promptly departing for a pre-arranged family dinner. We returned approximately 5 hours later and, upon entering our room (#124), we were overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke in this "100% smoke-free" hotel. The smoke was sufficiently thick to cause our eyes to burn. We called down to the front desk and explained our situation and asked if we could possibly be transferred to a different room. The very pleasant young woman who answered our call explained that the hotel was filled to capacity and, thus, she could not offer a room-switch. She made an effort, however, to do what she could to rid our room of the odor. She sprayed, extensively, a can of Fabreze in every area of the room. And it was effective... for approximately 15 minutes. In preparing for retiring for the night, we discovered that the stop-slide on our door was broken. It appeared that someone had pushed the door, from the hallway side, with such force that it bent the door frame and the safety unit into a state of inoperability. Additionally, we were unable to engage the dead-bolt because the door frame was also askew. We spent an exceptionally uneasy night of "sleep". To add to our frustration was the fact that we had paid twice the "normal" rate due to the sudden influx of persons seeking hotel rooms during the previously mentioned local events. The following morning, we rose and planned for our immediate departure. Before leaving we stopped by the front desk to inform the staff about the broken locks. The two employees with whom we spoke (one young man plus the young woman who had attempted to help us on the prior evening) were very well mannered and commiserative. The young man told us that the stop-slide on that door had been broken for a period of time. We requested a credit toward the charge for our one-night stay and were told that only the manager could authorize same. They provided the name of the manager, recorded our contact information and said that they would inform him of the reported issues and that he would call us. The manager, Ron Patel, did not reach out to us so we called him three days after our departure. Mr Patel was not as pleasant as his employees. He offered us a 45% discount on our NEXT stay at his hotel. We declined and after further discussion he agreed to a meager 10% credit on our existing charges. In the course of that discussion, he said 1) he had proof that we had slept in the room for 7 hours (not in dispute and a puzzling interjection) and 2) he had no idea what we did while we were in the room (a comforting statement since otherwise would indicate that he had installed spyware in the room for some reason) and 3) the deadbolt worked perfectly and he had "tested" it himself (we are 74 and 80 years old and, thus, our ability to force a deadbolt into position is compromised by our advancing age as opposed to the age of Mr Patel who is much younger). In summary we would not recommend that anyone stay in this hotel. Health and safety do not appear to be important to its management. A two-star rating has been assigned here, instead of a single star, only because we did not stay for breakfast and, thus, are unable to provide an opinion of same. However, we are willing to acknowledge the favorable reviews given by prior patrons pursuant to the breakfast provided.

No Elevator and Long Term Residents THERE IS NO ELEVATOR!! Hotel was clean. Staff was decently friendly. Breakfast was good and did have several options. Beds were comfy. *NOTE: This hotel is heavy with “permanent(long term) residents. These permanents had chairs set up in parking lot and there were several other residents that hovered in the lot and the skunk smell was heavy. I did not feel safe at this hotel since the side door was never locked and anyone could enter. I would not stay here again.

The "Not-So-Quality Inn." The "Not-So-Quality Inn." This place was horrible! Stayed with families for a high school ball tournament. Upon check-in, discovered the pool was closed. Fine, that happens. No elevator. Fine, we are able-bodied people and can haul all of our gear up a flight of stairs. Despite signs all over the premises saying it was a 100% smoke-free facility, the entire place smells of old cigarette and marijuana smoke, along with strong food smells. The hallways are dingy and dirty. Our room was relatively clean, but the bathroom was in need of repair. The door handle was falling off, and did not lock. The fan in the room was noisy. Breakfast was sparse. I went down at 9am and found no coffee, no eggs, no forks, and nobody to refill the area. The worst part was the clientele. We had a bunch of teenagers, but would not let them roam the hotel alone. We witnessed what looked like drug deals going on in the parking lot. My daughter saw a guy by a doorway counting a big wad of cash after a transaction. A group of men hanging out by the dumpster all night partying. At 10:00 as we were trying to sleep, I saw a man passed out in front of the door out in the hallway. After about a half hour and a lot of commotion in the hallway, some others roused the man and told him they would call the police if he didn't get in his room. Great experience for kids to witness (please note the sarcasm here). The best thing about the hotel was the parking lot, as it was the only place our large group could gather. We literally had pizza delivered and ate in our camp chairs next to our vehicles, as this was the cleanest place in the area. Paid $424 for the worst hotel experience we ever had. Do NOT stay here!
