Relaxing getaway This is a really nice well maintained B&B in West Chester. It’s more rural than downtown but a quick Uber to great restaurants. The parking was a little tight but manageable. The hosts were quiet, private and wonderful. We stayed on the top floor with the beautiful claw foot tub. Will definitely return.

Nice setting but needs thorough cleaning inside. Nice setting near the college, easy access. But entire place needs a thorough cleaning. Dropped something in the bedroom and there was a mountain of dust, dirt and even discarded plastic under the bed. Innkeeper pleasant and helpful.

Great bed, below average breakfast We stayed only one night in this lovely historic inn. A terrific room with deep, claw foot bath, comfortable bed and wonderfully furnished common spaces and dining room. But the breakfast was substandard, almost Motel 6 quality. Given what we paid for the room we would have expected much more (and deserved it!). Perhaps because it was the holiday season there was less provided than usual, but this was a little disappointing. So here's hoping this was a one time problem, but this was our experience.

Perfect place for our anniversary weekend. Longwood Gardens lists lodging establishments on their website that offer untimed admission tickets as part of their package. Faunbrook was one of only two B&B's listed among a bunch of chain hotels. We are very happy we chose Faunbrook, a lovely 1800's home transformed into a welcoming, beautifully furnished B&B. Our room (the Edith room) on the third floor had a comfortable bed and a huge ensuite bathroom with a deep soaking tub as well as a large walk-in shower. The breakfasts were delicious. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit to the Brandywine Valley.

Beautifully restored, Victorian-era mansion with gorgeous, restful rooms. I was in "May's Room". (Each room is named after a member of the original family, I think.) It had an en-suite bathroom w/ stall shower, a very comfortable, beautifully-made bed, a large wingback chair, antique dresser, period lamps, etc. etc. This was not my first stay at Faunbrook, nor will it be my last. I love this place! The breakfast was as tasty as the rooms are lovely. Creme brulee French toast!
