Lots of Potential For our first overnight stay, we selected an upgrade to a king room with soaking tub. Staff seemed to take their breaks in the lobby as there were mostly employees in this area. Our room was a beautiful and clean space with a nice couch. The breakfast was okay. Typical fare. Convenient to getting on highway. We slept comfortably. The cool feature was the sliding barn door that covered bathroom, then closet. Room was next to elevator which was convenient, but s little noisy as other guests came in late or left early talking loudly. Our second night was a weekend night and the hotel was packed with people including a large group partying in the lobby with young kids going up and down the elevator and in and out of the room across from us. We selected a basic room which was smaller, but fine, except for the noisy neighbors. The breakfast was even less interesting, as no oatmeal, but at least there was tea to fuel the rest of our journey.

Gone downhill I stayed in this hotel in 2018 and it was great. This time? Dirty, terrible pillows, the window shade in my room was broken so anyone could have seen in and the Tops sign shone in all night, the shower sprayed everywhere all over the floor, the towels were tiny and rough, and the bananas at breakfast were bruised. Oh, the pool is closed, as well. Do NOT recommend.

Opportunity to do the right thing missed The hotel is usually good. I was home for a family emergency and had made A reservation for two nights on a third party website. Prepaid and with insurance. I was at the hospital all day and night and arrived exhausted and completely exhausted from being at the hospital. I went to check in and from desk said my booking was canceled and there was nothing they could do other than charge me another night and could not check in till after a room became available which will not likely be till after 12:00. It’s was 7:30 in the morning. There was not empathy for my situation. I asked to speak to manager she said she won’t be in till 2:00. The lady at the desk said there was nothing she could do. As I was not up for the discussion I left the hotel in despair and ended sleeping in the parking lot down the street at the local grocery store . The story is still ongoing fighting to get money returned. My mother died later that day at 1:30. It was a total opportunity for the hotel to do the right thing but instead chose to stick by and do nothing. I have lost faith in the hotel chain and leaned that greed and heads in the bed is only Goal. I called corporate and that is a story for another group.

Good hotel right off I-90! Check in/out was easy at the front desk. The elevators kind of jump as you get in and out. The pool is located next to the elevator and the fitness center is down the hallway on the first floor. Our room was clean and sufficient. Was greeted on the TV screen with a personalized welcome. I’ve stayed at different Hampton Inn’s and these beds by far were the most stiff/hard I’ve slept on; I’ve waken up with back pain during my stay. Breakfast is your usually Hampton inn buffet; the eggs were a bit watery and the ham/egg combo was wet and gross. Besides that, the buffet was always being tended to and re-filled; nothing was ever empty because the staff was really on top of everything. Would we return here? The location is 10min from Highmark Stadium and it was the reason why we chose this location. I would def stay at a different Hampton Inn if it were not for the Bills game. This is the hotel off I-90 in west Seneca, not to be confused with the Hampton inn by galleria mall that is also off the I-90.

Definite disappointment We are used to a higher quality of care at Hampton Inns. A full week stay gave the very pleasant staff more than enough time to fix the issues but it didn’t happen. 5 of our 7 days our beds were not made up despite a number of requests. Blaring entryway speakers beneath our room was corrected for us but after a semi sleepless 1st night. The mini frig let the baby’s milk spoil but they happily replaced it. We were told the pool was receiving maintenance, but it was not available all week. Definite disappointment. Overall a 2-3 out of 5.
