Comfort Inn & Suites West Springfield

The Big E brought me here, I'm glad Close to the highway, but set in an industrial complex, the hotel was quiet. I was happy with my room. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night, and the hotel was quiet. I think you will be pleased with the accommodations.

Could Have Been Better 4 towel sets, good. 120v outlets OK. Lighting good Breakfast the usual Refrigerator larger than most Room clean Reason for a 3 and not a 4 is the elevator stopped working. Stuff happens. however, the only 2 sets of stairs were at each end of the building with none near the front. So we had to carry our luggage a long ways to the stairs then back to the front. Security lock on the room handle did not work. The other security latch to secure the door did.

MOLD. STAY AWAY. GROSS. Upon checking in, we walked into the room and immediately noticed a musty mold smell. I knew there would be mold somewhere in the room. I then checked for any bed bugs as i do at any hotel. I immediately found a carpet beetle.. finding these means there is an infestation and clearly not clean!! I then looked at the AC unit in the room and found the source of the smell. MOLD. All over the AC vents. Growing fuzzy mold. We checked out of the room after spending about 30 seconds there. We informed the front desk associate who did not take our concern seriously. He just said “would you like to check out?” YES, but how about you apologize for the issues or at least try to fix this. I didnt get his name, but he wore glasses and had a soft cast over his forearm.. he stated we would be refunded however this hasn't happened yet. Never again will i trust a comfort inn. STAY AWAY. If this room has these issues, they all likely do! People will get sick staying here!

Disappointing stay I’ll start by saying the personnel were all wonderful. But the hotel needs a lot of work—it is one of the most rundown hotels I’ve encountered. We had to change rooms b/c of a strong chemical odor. Unfortunately, the new room was in the same hallway with the burnt out lights & the worn carpet. Both rooms had mold in the showers. Upholstery in the room & the breakfast area was stained. Walls were scuffed up. Certainly not worth what we paid for the room.

Excellent Stay Hotel staff are great! Super friendly and attentive! Location very good. Nearby many restaurants and shopping centers. Very well run property. Clean rooms with amazing service, no need to make special request for room service. Nice indoor pool with hot tub. Breakfast was good, hot and cold fares offered. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be back. Thank you Comfort Staff, you were all amazing!
