Good experience overall Good price, comfortable beds. Remodeled, nice decor. But older slightly shabby walls, bathroom, etc. Forgot to ask for room above ground floor. Room was very dark and could not open shades due to privacy issues. Good restaurant for dinner. We had continental bfast for $14 which did seem very steep.

Wow - did we choose WRONG here!!! Be smart, fellow travelers! Read the reviews, start at the 1-stars, and see if you want to give your money to a place which clearly has issues. Sadly, I did NOT read the reviews before selecting this place for our wedding weekend, including group breakfasts, happy hour, buffet rehearsal dinner, and a (contracted) private room for hair/make-up for my Bridal Party to use. Almost every aspect of this property sucks. I'm going to give service 0 stars. The bartender we had was pitiful. Sad. Rarely looked up. Preferred to check her phone over actually SERVING GUESTS! Then, the kiss of death: No real Last Call announced. Afterwards, we were asked to leave the LOBBY? "The lobby is CLOSED." Haha... For our dinner buffet, they closed up early without notice, and with zero offer to give us any credit or extra food we never ate. I think we missed 7-9 guests because of the travel glitch happening that weekend. Where's the common courtesy to at least offer a final call for food? Maybe offer boxes TO GO? How much did they just pocket off us with all those missed guests and zero leftovers? That's pretty crappy service. I'll stop here, but mention our 2 contacts there wouldn't even have a conversation with me, they offered up WE'RE BUSY, and JUST EMAIL US instead... Service. Respect. Standards. What a letdown!

Awful outdated hotel This hotel room was a disaster. Besides being dark and outdated, it was dirty with a stained and ripped lampshade and dirty carpet. The floor lamp was missing and half the things in the bathroom were broken. The pool is in the middle of the hotel so half the hotel halls stink like chlorine. When I told the desk people about the room at checkout, they said it was supposed to be out of service so why did they give it to me. This hotel needs shut down and remodeled. Go to the Hyatt place at Crocker instead.

Dirty and outdated Stayed at this property for a state convention. It’s by far the worst Doubletree I have ever stayed at. The carpets and baseboards clearly haven’t been cleaned in long time. The air conditioner would not adjust temperature in our room so it was freezing. The ballroom was incredibly hot. The whole hotel smelled like chlorine. One elevator was broken and the other kept having issues. Housekeeping skipped our room two days out of the three we were there. The food they served was awful, we ended up having to order pizza and pick up bagels since no one wanted to eat it after we had two people get sick. It should be noted the hotel staff was nice it’s just clear they aren’t well trained or have the resources they needs to make guests comfortable.

Horriible I stayed here in 2018 and had a very good experience. This week was awful. This place is filthy dirty and lacking housekeeping. The two out of six days we were able to get housekeeping, the bed was half made. I asked 3 times to have stay over housekeeping and it never happened . The rooms are very dark and tomblike if you get one with a pool view. Everything in the bathroom is loose and falling off the walls. The back elevator is out of service as is the ice maker and there are no vending machines. They just don't care. When I went to address the lack of housekeeping on the first day, she stated they were understaffed and there was no stay over housekeeping, but that is not what we paid for. We paid for a full service hotel, not no service. This sadly does not live up to Doubletree standards. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost.
