No hot water for bath!!! No hot water. Stays luke warm. I was here a couple of months ago and they said it was not turned down and that they fixed it. They did not give me a discount then or now. I forgot about last time. I will not be back!!!! Got to thinking about this and I wonder if they even use hot water to sterilize their sheets and towels? Makes you wonder how clean they are!!!

Don’t you love racist managers? This complaint is towards the manager of this hotel. She was filled with pure hatred towards me. I believe this had to do with the color of my skin. She also accused me of smoking weed in the room.. I told her multiple times, that she was free to check the room. She didn’t of course, because it’s always easier to just accuse someone and walk away. Rather than trust your diamond elite member who has stayed at 100s of holiday inns. I will NEVER return to this hotel. Regular staff held themselves to a better level of professionalism than the manager, something is wrong their. And too put a cherry on the top, as soon as I walked out of the facility she called me the N word. So thank IHG for the great racist experience at Wharton TX holiday inn

Holds Beware they put a hold on your card for the full amount of your stay. Then when you check in the run your card again!! Your hold is eventually refunded in 5-7 business days. We are diamond level with Hilton & travel a lot. We’re used to $25-$30 holds a night. Never a hold equal to your stay. Furthermore we have stayed multiple times at the holiday inn off of JFK in Houston. We had a $30 hold per night there. So it’s obviously not a holiday inn policy. The beds were comfortable but the restroom had roaches in it. We’ve stayed here several times in the past & each time it’s a different policy & a different experience.

Comfortable large room We liked our room which happened to be handicap accessible which was appreciated. Having our mentally disabled son with us the larger bathroom was especially nice. However, the air conditioner was leaking big time so the floor between it and the bed was soaked. We were able to excuse that and dealt with it accordingly as there were no other rooms available for the 3 of us. All we wanted were extra towels to help soak up some of the moisture. My husband asked for the towels the first day and was given extra but the 2nd day was denied any more by a different front desk attendent. Soured the experience with the hospitality.
