Worth the Price and the Travel The hotel is gorgeous with a beautiful view of the water from the common area. I felt like a Jane Austen character wandering the halls! My friends and I rented the whole venue, and they welcomed us with cute signs for the event we had planned. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the building has a lot of charm. Would recommend, would love to stay again!

Snobby rude host STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE! Old Wheeler Hotel Wheeler Snobby rude host STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE! 949481885 Took a train ride to Wheeler stopped into the Hotel. Completely empty, the wife and I love old hotels and stay at many of them. As we started to look around at the hotel a woman rushed into the kitchen area we were in exclaiming " we are full and in sorry I don't have time to give tours right now and that door should have been locked and in an extremely passive aggressive manner with the I'm so much better than you and I don't have time for the likes of you shoved us out the door as fast as she could locking the door behind us. This is NOT a friendly woman and we would NEVER STAY THERE and recomend no one else does either. There are hundreds of old hotels to stay in without nasty snobby women running around that want to be rude to potential guest's

Perfect Antidote to Cookie-Cutter Hotels Charming, warm, homey and beautifully appointed, the Old Wheeler Hotel is the perfect antidote to a world of beige, cookie-cutter chain hotels. Every interaction, from the reservation phone call to check-in was personable and welcoming, and the antique decor made each return feel like a step back in time. Wheeler itself is a tiny gem, a quiet oasis between busy beach towns. I went on business but will be back for pleasure...and I can't wait.

Wouldn't answer the phone Had heard great things about this place and tried to stay on a cold rainy day called several times top get a room and left message and continued to call but no return calls or wouldn't pick up call. Went by and refused to answer door. It was around 9:00 pm so they were still open.

Great hotel Had an amazing time this weekend at the Old Wheeler Hotel! Katie and Jay are so much fun to hang out and chat with. Learning the history of the place and town was so interesting. I have also never seen a hotel this clean in my life! The bed was great, the rooms perfect, and internet was good enough to watch Netflix on. If you are looking for a nice relaxing place to say at the Oregon coast, this would be my first choice. Was treated like family the whole time. I will for sure go back.
