Aside for the experien e with the dogs the hotel was great We stayed at the Hampton Inn in White River Jct, VT. The rooms were immaculate and had everything we needed. The pool and the gym also were great. The best part was the breakfast. The crew put out a hot breakfast that was really hot and always refilled as was the coffee. My only problem was their pet policy. Two dogs had the 2nd floor to run back and forth. We were afraid to leave until they were put back on a leash as one of them jumped on my adult son. Very bad policy. No such thing as rooms reserved for pets. all rooms are used owners with pets. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Did not honor confirmed reservation. Seems like they overbook on purpose and send customers to their off brand hotel I booked a room online through the IHG website. However, upon arrival for check-in, the hotel staff informed us that they were overbooked and did not have a room available despite our confirmed reservation. They offered us a room at an off-brand hotel next door, which is owned by the same company. The staff assured us that the off-brand hotel would honor the same price. Upon checking online, I discovered that the off-brand hotel actually had cheaper prices available. When I questioned the staff about why they were charging us more than the listed price, they were unable to provide a satisfactory answer. I also inquired whether overbooking is a common occurrence at this property, and they confirmed that it happens frequently.

No A/C or Housekeeping during 4-night stay The temperature in the room could not be regulated. The first night it was 74 degrees in the room when we went to sleep and 79 degrees when we woke up. The common areas of the hotel were even more uncomfortably hot. We were told the building can only run either A/C or heat and the A/C had been turned off, so open the windows. We did that for the remaining nights and it was not much better. Housekeeping NEVER came to pick up trash and replace towels during our entire stay. We saw the housekeeping cart on our floor twice, but never saw a person to request trash pick up and towels. The staff was nice, but for the money spent this was an extremely disappointing experience. We will definitely never stay here again and are hesitant to try another Holiday Inn Express location anywhere.

Terrible room, bad experiance. This room was supposed to be a value, but the AC did not work correctly, the furniture was garbage, the bed felt like sleeping on plywood, and the ceiling in the bath had severe water damage recently. This had been repaired by a 10 year old with playdough and the paper was peeling from the damaged area. Not nice at all, waste of my airline points to book there. Second time I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, both times have been garbage experiences. Never again will I go anywhere near this chain.

Not happy with Holiday Inn We were told we could check out early and only be billed for the days we stayed. I gave them a 48 hr. notice. They charged me only for the days I stayed , then five days later they charged me for the whole stay that I had booked. I thought the manager was not very under standing and rude. He said he checked the security camera and I was on it, he said he checked with the staff and was told by them I was there so that is way I was billed extra. I told him I have a receipt for another motel in another state for the days after I checked out. I called IHG and they said there was nothing they could do. Not a happy IHG member. I will not stay at another Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express. I do not recommend this Holiday Inn. to anyone..
