Wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is rustic and cozy with lots of wood finishes and a massive fireplace in the large lobby, The breakfast area was small but had a nice selection of items. The only thing we would have liked were cereal options that weren't sweet. Our room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Comfortable & Affordable Comfortable, reasonably-priced accommodation near Glacier National Park. Managers Jim, Max, Lacy and their crew provided a great stay. Lovely fireplace surrounded by cozy seating in commons area. Clean rooms with extremely comfortable bedding. Only suggestion I'd make to the property's owners is that they pave the overflow parking lot across the street.

Relaxing Mountain Ambiance Our recent stay at Kandahar was perfect!! The ambiance of the Lodge was very warm and welcoming, the breakfast in the mornings was just what we needed to get our day started .Our room was nice and comfortable to come back to in the evenings after we had been out sightseeing all day. Our bed was very comfortable and we loved the fridge in our room. We looked forward every evening to sitting in the lobby around the fireplace and chatting with the other guest about our days adventure and what our plans for tomorrow were. We can not say enough good things about your staff members Max,Michael and Lacey they were pleasant, helpful and professional from start to finish. We are looking forward to our next visit

Beautiful Facility for Skiers We stayed for two nights. It was our base for visiting Glacier NP. The large lobby area with a fire in the fireplace created a great ambiance. Our room was adequate and the beds were comfortable. The room doors require an actual metal, toothed key like back in the olden days. That feature contributed to the traditional ski lodge feel of the place. The breakfast had ham and cheese and breads so we could make a sandwich to take to the park, but it did not have the typical hot eggs, sausage, etc. that one sees in chain restaurants. The only downside was that there are no stores or restaurants within walking distance—at least not in September.

This hotel is designed for someone who loves outdoors activities. This hotel is designed for someone who loves outdoors activities. The fireplace in the lobby was kept on pretty much an entire day which makes it nice and cozy place for gathering or reading a book. The rooms are nice size but to get there, you will have to use many steps, so be prepare for meeting your “steps” goal daily. The room was clean and we always had plenty of extra towels. We stayed there in the end of September, which is considered off season, so the restaurant and a bar were closed, which is inconvenient, but if you would like to get an Uber/Lift rides to Whitefish, they are very much available. Breakfast was available daily and provided items such as different variety of cereal, milk, orange/apple juice, hard boiled eggs, some lunch meat/cheese, fruits, blueberry muffins and some other breakfast pastries. There was a toaster for assortment of breads and a nice choice of jellies and spreads. The breakfast area was very well attended and re-stocked regularly so every guest had the same variety of items. Hot coffee is available in the lobby through the day. We also had a coffee maker in our room. The icemaker is in the lobby of the hotel by the breakfast area, so if you like to get some ice, you will have to walk all these steps again! There are few vending machines and washer/drier placed to the icemaker. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
