Great Place to Stay The place is great. Manager is extremely friendly. Good Rooms. Best place in Williamston. Every time we come to town we stay here because it's the best one and the prices are good. It's not too expensive and they are very welcoming.

My wife and I enjoyed a great weekend retreat and huge family visit to the "world famous" Sunnyside Oyster Bar My wife and I enjoyed a great weekend retreat and huge family visit to the "world famous" Sunnyside Oyster Bar that's right around the corner. While the Inn has some age, it is in great condition, very very clean and well managed. We felt 100% safe and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Good ole Southern Hospitality:100%. Very nice and complete cont. breakfast fixings.

I shouldve stayed on my family couch. Ckecking in Saturday night with the clerk SSPRUI (name on my receipt but their was two of them, I think it was the manager I had most contact with) , she had an attitude that shouldve been a sign to walk away. SSPRUI was short and nasty when I inquired about a king room as if I was aware of their availability. I agreed on the double and providedmy husbands AAA card and identification. IAfter returning to the car to retrieve my bags and husband I realized SSPRUI forgot to return his license. We walked up to the desk and I simply said that I didnt get my husbands license back and she snapped and said "what do you think Im going to steal it?, you can have it back." I was stunned. I asked my husband if I said it in an accusatory way and he said no not at all. SSPRUI told me I sounded mad, which is ludicrous because we were just leaving my mothers 70th birthday celebration and were in an awesome mood. We headed up to our room. The vending machine was broken. I like to have drink ing water on my nightstand. The hallway was rank, musty and faint smell of stale cigarettes. The room was rank and musty. The bedding was stained. The shower screamed when turned on. Morning couldnt come fast enough to check out. I had no interest in the lackluster breakfast they offered. Check-out with CTAYLO was great, she was kind and nothing but positive vibes, we talked about her graduate and life ahead, five stars for CTAYLO. I wont stay here again when I visit.

Never Stay Here After this hotel experience I will never prepay for a hotel again because I would have canceled and moved hotels as soon as I arrived. When you walk in the building you are overwhelmed with the smell of cigarettes and as a non-smoker this is not pleasant. If you chose to stay here and a non-smoker make sure to double check you are in a non smoking room in hopes it helps a little! Due to the smell of smoke I kept as much of my belongings in the car as possible and when returning home will have to leave my suitcase and laptop bag outside to air out. Once in the room the AC unit was so loud it was hard to fall asleep, the room was not very clean even to the point the hair dryer handle was sticky, mirror in bathroom is streaked and splattered, floor had either blood spots or dropped nail polish which needed to be mopped up. The back entrance was also piled with large amount of trash sitting in moveable charts so the lack of cleanliness appeared throughout the building. (Smoke smell was even worse at this entrance than the front) Other than the room being dirty there were also a number of repairs needed. The shower head appeared to have paint on it, there was peeling paint, rusty spots near the door, etc. If repairs are done, lights need to be added: there are three small lamps in the room which do not provide light near the door and when showering the light in the bathroom is so low that you struggle to see. No way to put makeup on.

Good Points/Ba Point I had a planned meeting at a near by town for some geocaching with two friends. This seemed the best spot under Choice Hotels within range. Apparently either Garmin or Choice Hotels hadn't updated data as the GPSr showed a EconoLodge but no Quality Inn in so I headed towards the Econo to find out about the Quality . Well, the Econo was now the Quality and it looked like it was something else earlier. To back up a moment, I had to call Choice Hotels to ask about paying by points as the clerk said there were plenty of vacant rooms but the CH website said there were no points rooms available. I did get a points room which was nice and clean. Once glitch was the chain in the water tank of the commode either broke off or came loose. I reported it. Breakfast was on the low end of Choice Hotels, but okay. I may well stay there again. That said, despite all the rooms I saw had no smoking signs and no smell of smoke in my room, the hall had a tobacco odor.
