Nice Overnight Stop on Our Way Home From check-in to check-out, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. There was plenty of shaded parking underneath solar panels. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel was not full, and they seemed to space guests every second or third room, so the stay was extremely quiet and pleasant. Perhaps that was just luck, but we greatly appreciated it, nonetheless.

great Holiday inn This was an unplanned stop on our trip, but probably the best hotel we stayed in. Staff was wonderful. Plenty of parking. Smaller room, but met our need. Had a fridge with freezer in the room. Breakfast was the best we had - well stocked and had healthy options (even had packaged Gluten-free muffins and bagels, which I've never seen before at a motel). We probably won't be back through her again, but would recommend this place.

Modern This is a very modern hotel with clean, spacious rooms. Music playing in the hallways and a pretty pool and jacuzzi area. They have a hot breakfast, and serve high protein chobani greek yogurt, which I have never seen at a hotel! Most just offer the high sugar yoplait yogurts. This hotel is in a rural area close to a wildlife sanctuary, and the birds have taken up residence in the roof. When I arrived about 6:30 in the evening, the pool area was full of bird doo, even the chairs. In the morning the maintenance man was cleaning. They may need to clean twice a day. I enjoyed sitting in the jacuzzi and watching the birds, I'm glad they have not removed the nests. The morning staff were very polite and helpful. Cons: The young woman evening desk clerk was rude and condescending. It may have been too much for her handling a hotel full of checking- in guests by herself. The doors and windows don't offer any soundproofing; I could hear every word people said outside. This hotel is near a racetrack, so if you want peace and quiet pick a time when the hotel 's not full of a racecar group staying here and revving up their motors in the morning.

comfortable place with good service New facility, with comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and superb service. Rooms are very quiet. What more do you want from a hotel? Daisy, at the front desk, went out of her way to help us. We'll be back.

Passing through After a horrid experience at the Express in Corning, we were hesitant to try another Express. For some strange reason that review didn't get published. From now on, when I have a negative experience, a copy is going to be posted on Tripadvisor. And, to be clear, I seldom have an experience as bad as Corning. As it turned out, this was a better experience. It was a bit expensive for an Express, so I was forced to use up a reward night. Very clean and well located. Only negative was someone was cooking in their room and set off the fire alarm. It took most of the night for the odor to clear. I have favored IHG hotels for at least 20 years. There is one issue that applies to all their hotels. Where pets are allowed they never seem to mark out some pet free rooms. My wife suffers with pet hair allergies and I just don't like sharing my sleeping space with animals. I think I'd better post this one to Tripadivsor.
