Happy in Winnemucca What a surprise! I was expecting this two star motel to disappoint. This is a very nice motel. The room was beautiful and very clean. The bathroom has nice fixtures that are in like new condition and the towels were of high quality. The furniture and bedding appear to be brand new. The staff was efficient and professional. Even the pool was good. We were even supplied with a treat bag for my dog.

It checks a lot of my boxes The outside looks run down, the owner has put the money into making the rooms comfortable. For the price we paid, it was a good value. Our check in lady may have been stressed, as she wasn't pleasant. Upon check out, Kierstan was very pleasant and efficient. We did not eat the breakfast offered. You take it on a tray to your room. No protein to speak of. ( We did go to Sid's for an excellent breakfast) Our room was up the stairs on 2nd level, we did not have wood floors that other reviewers have mentioned. The carpet was questionable, everything else was clean. Large room with 2 tables and 4 chairs. Bed comfy, shower powerful, refrigerator turned on (not always the case), full length mirror and magnifying mirror, good lighting. There is a pool we didn't use. I would say it's worth the $$ and good for a night stay when on the road

Great Place for the Price! First time staying here and did so because of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was exactly like it had stated. The staff was fantastic, the room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable, which is all I wanted for a good nights sleep after a long day on the road. The only suggestion I would make is to remove a couple of the tire stops in the parking lot. I was traveling with a small cargo trailer with very low ground clearance and would have rather parked in the parking lot then down the street, that's all. Would stay again if the need arises.

Just right This is a perfect alternative choice to the " casino hotels" that dominate this gambling town. The property is an older classic motel. Check in was friendly and efficient. My room was of decent size, with laminate hard wood flooring, two comfortable queen beds with decorative pillows as well as sleeping ones. The bathroom vanity is separate from the bathroom. There was a large flat screen TV, Refrig, and coffee maker. Everything was clean, fine and presentable. Plenty of parking, and centrally located. Makes for a fine choice for those just needing a clean, practical , safe place to stay.

Nice surprise This hotel was not our first choice when we stopped for the night, but I’m really glad we found it. We are traveling with 3 year old twin grandsons and a dog. I like the laminate floors and the bath room was really nicely done. We were supplied with nice towels and amenities. I enjoy finding good hotels when we travel and this is definitely one to come back to.
