second visit this year, still good! Our first visit was the beginning of June--pretty much the start of the tourist stampede--then again shortly after Labor Day when things got a lot calmer in the Dells. Regardless of the time of season or quantity of tourists the Indian Trail Motel maintains is able to maintain a good level of quality and positive experiences for their guests.

Motel Flashback Loved this old fashioned motel. Spacious room and bath and spotless. Nice to park outside your door! The indoor pool was a bit chilly but the whirlpool was perfect. Enjoyed the sauna too. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

My experience with this hotel This hotel met all my expectations through reading all the other comments on trip advisor.the gentleman that checked us in was helpful and friendly. The rooms although an older style place is spacious and super clean.the cleaning people are detailed and friendly. My room was very well stocked.some other past reviews mentioned no wifi in rooms.although the gentleman at the desk stated only outside due to the stone walls.i had zero issues getting wifi in my room.maybe where our room was located but had wifi in room full trip of 4 nights. We were in room 59 facing the street.i highly recommend this place and will stay here again when in the area.

Run run run away from this dump of a motel This has got to be one of the worst motels in the dells on top of the horrible customer service from the owners the police were called on other guests and they did nothing about it besides say "well it happens" they didnt even offer an appology. And thats just a start to this horrible stay here the showers barely gets hot,the overwhelmimg chlorine from the pool not only burns ur eyes but made our daughter break out in a rash witch prevented us from returning to the pool. 75% of the amenities that are offered on their web sote don't even exist at their location the "game room" consisted of 3 out dated arcade games that were shoved in a small room with the washer and dryer TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT BOOKING AT THIS PLACE RUN RUN RUN THIS IS THE WORST MOTEL IN THE DELLS

Worst motel I've ever stayed in!!!! They say Never judge a book by it's cover, and the same goes for Indian Resort Motel! The websites talk about 11 acres of land, game room, fire pits, grills, a coffee bar and many other empty promises! We tried to walk through the wooded area of the grounds, but the paths were not maintained, and we spotted several poison ivy plants directly growing in the unkept pathways, so that was a bust. The game room consisted of 3 outdated games, which was shoved in a little hall with the coin operated laundry room. The firepit and grills accessible for guest incude 1 fire pit, and 2 grills. For a motel that offers such amenities there should be more then 2 to accommodate guests. The one fire pit looked decent but it too but was already taken byother guest so that was unavailable for us. The free coffee bar is no more then what they offer in the rooms. For the price for a stay, they should at least offer creamer or milk. However indian trails motels doesn't. Powdered creamers and packets of sugar! The indoor pool made your eyes tingle from the overpowering cholrine and chemicals. It was affecting both the children and adults. All complaining about it. The rooms are outdated, but our room was at least clean. They even had fly swatters in each room to help with the unbelievable amount of flys. However....The shower faucet was so low that either you have to bend over or squat down to shower unless you are under 5'5". The hot water supply SUCKS! We took a late night shower, sunday night(8-25) and after 45 minutes of luke warm water, and water not turning any hotter even with the faucet all thr way on hot temp. I ended up cold, and disappointed that I couldnt even enjoy a shower after a long day of exploring the Dells. _icing on the cake_ Their were guest staying right next to our room, who were fighting, yelling, swearing, and causing a disturbance for all the guest on the motel strip we were in! The guests were harrassing another friendly group from Iowa, and were so loud that my mother in law who stayed on the other side of the motel across the parking lot called us worried because she could hear it all past the "main building" across the parking lot! This fight went on for hours! It got so bad that we called 911 due to yelling, screaming, and smashing noises coming from their room, and we could hear it through the cinder block walls! This situation started around 9pm at night and continued on til at least 2am! Through ALL of this craziness NOT 1 person from management came over to deal with the situations happening on their property!!! They not only told us, but told my mother-in-law as well, "it happens". You know what, it may happen.....but NEVER in my life have a stayed at such a ghetto hotel that they dont have anyone on the grounds or to take care of motel guest who are potentially putting others at harm. I am still flabbergasted that the owner/management during checkout didnt give a damn! His attitude was pissy, arguementative, and he was straight up the rude! When we commented about the terrible customer service he barked back saying we have excellent customer service, we've been opened 20 years! Quite frankly I do NOT know how. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and strongly urge anyone looking for a family friendly hotel/motel to STAY AWAY!!!!!! Lastly, a personal note to the owner/ management! I read throughly through your reviews before writing this review....I saw there are ' only similar complaints but others as well. I also noticed anything negative said resulted in a response to the guest stating they were not seen in your registration books as if your calling them liars, and acting like their opinons domt matter! Well guess what! My name is not in that book either because my mother-in-law booked the trip, so instead of using immature excuses of issues guest complain about, do something about it!
