Comfortable We stayed one night as we were playing the golf course (it's a very nice course, we had played it about 20 years prior). This hotel has been freshened up and our room was clean. Service at check in was very friendly. The restaurant is just ok, it was quite busy the night we were here. There's really nowhere else to eat that's nearby.

Ugh, the food! Ok resort. Fairly updated. Staff were fine. The problem was the food - atrocious!!! Compounding that is the fact that there is not much around the resort, so you are sort of stuck. Would I return? Probably not.Aw

Great hotel to go play golf and take a break Great hotel - great price quality especially if you are a golfer - amazing golf course - hotel is all renovated - rooms are beautiful - we had a king room on a corner with a view of the 18th hole absolutely gorgeous - staff was helpful and friendly - definitely better than the reviews we read - we only went once to the restaurant and it was fine - I would definitely go back -

Nice hotel, menu/food needs to be fixed The hotel itself and the spa were wonderful. The food and the entertainment were sub-par. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated, the hotel was clean, the Spa was amazing (highly recommend the facials). The food was not great, the bar service not great. It was a cold crappy day so it was a slower afternoon, however still expected to get good service. We were ignored by the bartender for the most part. Went down for supper, service was good, however it was clear the waitress was not familiar with the "new menu". The new menu itself needs to be edited, as the descriptions are not consistent. The "watermelon mojito" did not contain any watermelon at all, and had I paid more attention to the description, it actually does not describe any watermelon at all. Several of the food items did not describe if sides were included or not, which changed how we ordered our food. The panfried haddock was completely coated in egg, which I had to peel off, and it did not say it included vegetables, so I ordered a salad, and when it came it fully had a side of vegetables. The entertainment was quite talented, however it was advertised as two different singers and there was in fact only one, who started an hour later than advertised. Of our 4 days on the island it was by far the worst meal, to the extent that we didn't even bother trying the breakfast, we just left in the morning. I hope the menu issues get resolved so visitors can have a great overall experience there.

Really not good I hate to leave a bad review as I am a local and I like to see local places do well. But this was the worst meal we have ever been served in a restaurant. After waiting an hour, our food was served ice cold and yet also burnt. It was very bad. Luckily the waitress/decision maker was very apologetic and ended up comping our bill. For this reason we will give it another chance some day, it’s a beautiful spot. It was not a busy night but another table (8 people) were also served cold food after an hour wait
