Rather than choose between careers and motherhood, longtime friends Tracey and Maureen accommodate both with Mobile Moms Photography. When they aren't tending to their own kids, the proud parents snap shots of everyone from napping newborns and brides trashing their dresses to families enjoying a stroll on the beach. After each in-studio or on-location session, Tracey and Maureen assemble their edited images into a private online gallery. From there, clients can determine which pictures to keep as one of Mobile Moms' eclectic products, which range from photo books to mugs and mouse pads.

Now, Robert is opening his studio to anyone seeking great images at an affordable price.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Having missed out on many family moments due to work obligations, I took up photography as a hobby to capture and re-live what moments I was around for. Discovering I had a passion for photography, and some skill, led me to begin my own photography business.
What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and helping them preserve their moment in time, capturing images that truly reflect who they are as an individual, or a family.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Had a photographed a model that was just getting started and was trying to improve her portfolio. After posting some of the images that I took of her, she found herself getting more inquiries for her to model for other photographers.
Studio P.'s photographer, Priscilla, studied music for 13 years before discovering the photographic works of Richard Avedon and Nan Goldin; after that, she enrolled in photography school and never turned back. At Studio P., she focuses mostly on portraits and event photography, though some jobs bring her to fine-art installations and fashion shoots. She strives to bring a fresh perspective and look to her shots while staying true to each client's desired aesthetic.
A team of professors, photojournalists, and professional photographers are the driving force of Ambiance Digital Photography School, teaching the fundamentals of DSLR photography via step-by-step instructional videos. Besides the online database of videos, the pros put together downloadable and printable tutorials to accompany photo examples. Any member of the school gets lifetime access to the school’s library, which includes an in-depth course on Photoshop. Some of the continually updated video classes focus on topics such as black-and-white photography, taking group or self portraits, and mastering different sources of light rather than always carrying around the same lava lamp.
