As a trained dancer since age 5, it’s not surprising that Zumba Jammer-certified Ali Struyk eventually gravitated toward Zumba, a dance-fitness hybrid that helped her shed pounds after the birth of her child. Zumba integrates dance styles such as salsa, hip-hop, and rumba to upbeat Latin rhythms, simultaneously burning calories, strengthening muscles, and boosting energy levels without resorting to witchcraft. Students follow the freeform routines to the best of their ability, which allows participants of varying experience levels to bust a move in the same class.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The inspiration behind "Todos" is what it translates to in English from Spanish. Todos means "everyone," and everyone is welcome at our studio. Our owner, Ronen Zinshtein (three-time undefeated US champion in standard dances) had a dream of owning a dance studio, and last year, that dream came to fruition.
What do you love most about your job?
What our team loves most about our job is the ability to help everyone that walks through our doors achieve their goals. No matter how big, or small, our instructors always put forth their greatest effort to help our clients accomplish what they set forth to do. It doesn't hurt that dancing is fun!
Arthur Murray has been a leading name in franchise dance since 1912, when the entrepreneur began selling mail-order dance lessons. Expanding his reach, he enlisted teachers to spread his signature dance lessons on first-class steamships and skyrocketed to fame in the '30s after introducing the public to such dances as the Lambeth Walk and The Big Apple. By the 1950s, Arthur and his wife, Kathryn, were hosting their own highly popular TV show on ABC, The Arthur Murray Dance Party, which ran for 12 years. Today, Arthur Murray's team prepares students for rug cutting at special events and weekend nightclub jaunts. Throughout lessons, instructors teach the foundations of two to four dances from a long list of styles that range from Latin to country-western, helping students to learn basic step patterns, timing, and the ability to lead or follow.
